Hi Eliza. For some reason I have only just picked up your wordless Wednesday, behind the times.
Stunning, like a fireworks display of flowers. I have just bought a load of vegetable seeds. Planting things is the way through! Your flowers bring back summer memories.

We are thrilled to finally have a new president who knows what he is doing. Thus, my use of floral ‘fireworks.’ 😉
We’re in a deep freeze this week, so flowers are what I’m thinking about these days!
When do you start your seeds?
I love the red, white and blue, beautiful Eliza!

Using flowers in these three colours is a gentle and inspirational way to illustrate the sorely needed hope and unity that the change in the administration of the US represents.
It is amazing how much better the greater collective is feeling these days. The anxiety and tension that was nearly unbearable has largely dissipated, as the new admin moves swiftly forward, addressing what needs to be done. Such a relief, here and around the world.
That is so good to hear Eliza. We watched the inauguration and the contrast it provided to what had gone before was very affecting. The challenges are enormous but there are reasons to be hopeful going forward. Let’s hope civility catches on …
That is our daily hope, that the rabble rousers who threatened our democracy are prosecuted to the full extent of the law, in order to let it be known to any future miscreants that we stand on our guiding principles.
