What an awesome place to walk. One way?
Thank you, Alice. These days, if there is another coming, someone has to backtrack and give way. Here, at least, one sees few people.
What a special place to immerse in nature
Thank you, Karen… one of my favorite places. đ
I love that nature invites us to become lost for our own sake!
Yes, so true… thanks, Robert!
An impressive boardwalk inviting you in.
Thank you, Brian. It surely does!
Even though there surely are some differences, it’s amazing how closely this resembles one of the preserves I enjoy visiting: right down to those weathered boards.
I love boardwalks that wend through places we wouldn’t normally have access to. This one is to a bog nearby. A lovely spot.
Love those golden ferns.
Thank you, Laurie. Me, too. đ
Fabulous place and capture! đ¤Š
Thank you, Susan!
I’d love to wander there. So inviting!
Thank you, Sandy. It is a lovely place to wander!
Simply beautiful! Your land?
Thanks, Loree. I wish it was our land, but this is a bog on conserved land near us. You’d love the Sarracenia purpurea out there!
Is this in your woods going toward the river?
No, it’s at Hawley Bog. Have you ever been to it? It is a great little walk full of cool bog plants.
Lovely photo and what a wonderful boardwalk to wander through the woods!
Thank you, S, it is an inviting boardwalk in its meandering way, leading you on to what is next. đ
Lovely! Does it ever flood over?
Thanks, Kris. I’m not sure if it does. I’ve seen the water pretty high in spring after snow melt and spring rains, but this year has been quite dry and the water was pretty low when I visited.
This looks like a wonderful place to walk. I love bogs. đ
Me, too. There is something primeval about them, don’t you thinK? Thanks, Robin!
A lovely looking walk.
Thank you, Belinda. It is a lovely spot for a meander.
Beautiful walk Eliza, happy Sunday!
Thank you, Agnes. Hope yours was nice as well. đ
It was Eliza, even when the day was dark and very wet, it was what my grandchildren call a ‘pyjama’ day đ
Yes! đ
Nice, Eliza! I’m ready to follow it!! đ
Isn’t it inviting? Thanks much, Donna!
Love boardwalks and ferns. Beautifully captured. đ
Thank you very much, Irene!
Love it!
Thank you, Trini!
Makes me wonder âwhere does the path lead?â
Yes, it does! Thanks, Nathi. đ
My pleasure â¨đ
This looks an inviting place to walk.
It is a lovely spot, one of my local favorites.
I recognized that boardwalk even before reading the tags. đ
Yup! đ
Beautiful silent sunday pic post. Have a happy Sunday
Thank you very much!
It’s like a mystery … where does it lead to? What will I find around the bend? đ
Yes, I love paths that lead you onward. đ
Deep silence đđť
Thank you, Karen. â¤
Very inviting. Who wouldn’t want to walk along the boards and among the ferns!
Yes, exactly, one wonders what is beyond. đ Thanks, Denise!
