So beautiful. Would love to be there! ๐
Thank you, Karen. I hope some day you can visit to see it for yourself. Fall in New England is extraordinary. This is the peak foliage week… it goes by so quickly, but lovely while it lasts.
It looks amazing ๐
The colours are lovely, amazingly beautiful. We still have some leaves left on the trees, but they are thinning out fast now. Enjoy it while it last ๐
Thank you, Maria. I figure we have another week or so of the bright foliage (maple, birch) before we head into oaks/beech, which are more subdued. It does go by quickly! November is always shockingly dull by comparison.
I need to see the fall colors. Lovely Eliza.
Thank you, Cindy. Glad to share what we have. It’s been a good year so far for foliage.
I just love your Silent Sundays. Beautiful pictureโค๏ธ
Thank you very much, Divya!

Thank you, Joanne. A lovely day it was!
Oh wow… what a lovely place!
Thank you, Anita. It was a lovely walk around that pond… more pix to come. ๐
Yay!
๐
Love the autumn colours:)
Thank you, Karina. The red maples have been stunning this year. (I probably say that every year, though. ๐ )
Beautiful fall scene. I love this season.
Thank you, it’s shaping up to be a lovely foliage season, despite the rain and wind we’ve had.
Is the predominant fall foliage in this picture on a birch tree?
Red maple (Acer rubrum)
Beautiful!!
Hi there! Glad to share some MA foliage with you. ๐ โค
You beautified my morning, thank you, Eliza!
Thank you, Donna, glad to know it. ๐
Beautiful, Eliza!! We’re getting there!! YAY!!! xo
๐ Thanks, Amy!
Silent but colorful!
A great time of year. ๐ Thanks, Hien.
Beautiful autumn colours Eliza! xxx
Thank you, Xenia!
Those maples won’t be thirsty!
Nope! ๐
The trees surrounding ponds, lake, rivers seem to be as beautiful as ever. These are stunning.
Thank you, Karen! x
Lovely fall color. We’ve had a beautiful weekend and we have a chance this week of rain. Fingers crossed.
Thank you, Judy. While the last storm took a lot down, more is turning, it’s so beautiful out there!
I will be enjoying your fall photos as I am back to my summer climate.
Thank you โ I’m trying to post extra photos this year, the season is too short! ๐
Ooooh! How beautiful! โค
Thank you, Robin!
Fall in New England! Absolutely glorious.
Thank you, Laurie. Shaping up to be a great foliage year… yay!
A little duller in Maine, I think. Too many storms, perhaps.
Yes, a lot fell in that last storm and the drought didn’t help. Oaks and beech will be the last of it.
Beautiful anyway. I took a walk for a Walktober post. What an exquisite day!
Looking forward to seeing it!
Very nice Fall colors Eliza!
Thank you, Reed! ๐
Still following you my friend! Miss Mass colors!
So nice to see your comment, Laurie. Hope you had a good summer on the beach! โค
Marvelous picture, Eliza!
Hi Leah – thanks so much! Hope you are well and the storms haven’t been too bad for you this year. โค
You have managed to provide a perspective of both height and beauty. A frame-worthy photograph, Eliza.
Thank you very much, Anne!
Always lovely. The LA Times posted a story yesterday pointing Californians to spots they could find fall color. It’s rather like a scavenger hunt here. Most of the sites were in Northern California ๐ฆ
Thank you, Kris. I’ll try to post more autumn shots for you to enjoy, though I know that is not the same as seeing it in person. ๐
All maples have delightful autumn hues, but it’s red maple that is usually the star of the show. Don by your river?
No, this was at Julian’s Bower. More to come!
Those trees seem to soar and the colours are so mellow and warm. Enjoy the transient beauty of the season while it lasts!
Thank you, Carol, I will!
I always find fall bittersweet, so beautiful yet a signal of whatโs around the corner ๐. Lovely shot, Eliza.
Thank you, Belinda. I try not to think about November-Feb, my toughest time of year… not enough sunlight!
The stunning arrival of fall…๐โจ๐
Lovely autumn colors. ๐
Thank you, Irene. x
Love the trees that display variegated color like this! NICE!
Thank you very much, Denise. The color has been nice this year – lots of dry, sunny days!
