A beautiful Winter scene Eliza, I love the misty light xxx

  16. Beautiful image Eliza! I like the curved branches creating a sort of β€œwindow” for the snow covered fallen tree in the water!

  17. So lovely Eliza!!!!!!!!!

  18. Wonderful moody composition. Sigh. Our snow is all gone, revealing the leaves we did not rake this fall.

Thank you, Laurie. I saw on the weather that you got a lot of onshore wind and rain. As you can see, we still have snow despite rain and is now frozen solid 3″ crust. At least the sun is shining today!

A very special and atmospheric shot Eliza.

Beautiful riverscape, Eliza. So nice to have a few autumn leaves to add a little color. Even though I prefer to shoot monochrome images, around this time of year I start looking for whatever little bits of color I can find just for a little winter encouragement.

This is one in a million, Eliza.

  37. The hazy atmosphere makes it magical !

Spectacular Eliza, it looks like a dream village. I love the composition. Is this immediately after a snowfall?

  39. Nice composition and I like what the fog does to our view of the background. I bet this would work well as a B&W too … since it’s almost there!
