It really is! Thank you, Sreejith. ๐

Anticipating is over….here is (part of) what Spring is all about! Enjoy!
Thank you, Alice!
Beautiful:)
Thank you!
Hmm the scent!
Yes! ๐
Now that’s pretty!
Thank you, Marian! I love this combination.
Spring blooms, guessing there is a lightness in your step Eliza?
Absolutely! This past winter was pretty grueling and way too long. SO GLAD it is now spring.
So many shades of blue and purple! Beautiful!
Thank you, Hien!
Now, isn’t that a stunning photo. ๐
Thank you, Judy. I love jewel tones!
Are these in your garden Eliza? It is certainly what I hope to come back to: all the daffodils and muscari popping up! This is a wonderful mix with that stunning hyacinth!
Actually, it is from the bulb show, but I plan on creating something like it come fall. Isn’t it gorgeous? โค
I’m sure you will “top” the show, Eliza!
I’m flattered by your confidence in me, lol!
At last!
๐
I can almost smell them! Sooo lovely! ๐ โค
Thank you, Joanna!
This is one that I covet for the garden! But yours will suffice. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you!
Yahoo!!! My favorite colors. What a spring time treat!
Like living jewels. Thanks, Laurie.
Your garden sings the blues beautifully!
Thanks, Peter!
Oh wow! Such a big pop of some of my favorite colors. Beautiful shot, Eliza. ๐
Thank you, Robin. ๐
I’m so glad to see that Spring has finally arrived in your area, Eliza! I bet the garden is going to proceed at full speed to make up for lost time.
I certainly hope so! We want to put winter far behind us!
So fresh and beautiful Eliza, and I just love those scents!
Thank you, Agnes. I love the scents of spring!
Ooooh, such lovely blues!
Thank you, Karina!
‘Rhapsody in Blue’ … and mauve. ๐
Now that would be a perfect title!
Sooo beautiful. Blue is my favorite color.
Thank you, Wendy. You should plant a bunch of these come fall. ๐
Lovely Eliza! Are these coming up in your garden?
Thank you, Belinda. These aren’t mine, but I do have others coming up now. I adore the scent of hyacinths!
I can smell the hyacinths from here – if only ours would hurry up so I could actually smell some from here!
Yesterday’s rain is helping green things up here. It always seem to come on in a rush…then the black flies hatch. ๐ฆ
How wonderful. I love that harmonising colour combination. Very pretty indeed. xx
Thank you very much, Karen. ๐
Have a lovely weekend Eliza x
Gorgeous! I think you managed to get all the colors of my wardrobe in this one ๐
Thanks, Maria. Blue/purple would definitely look good on you!
You’re so sweet โค
Absolutely beautiful and a perfect way to celebrate the arrival of spring!๐
Thank you!
So blue-tiful!
๐ Thanks, Fi!
This incredible, are these growing wild? Amazing, I always knew these liked colder weather.
While these do need a cold period, they are not wild, but grown in pots at our local bulb show. I hope to plant similar ones in my yard this fall. I love the colors!
Simply beautiful. I think purple is my favorite color in the garden ๐
Thank you, Jen. I don’t think I could pick a favorite, lol! I love them all. ๐
So beautiful to see the shades of spring in all its glory with this shot, Eliza. Wonderful.
Thank you kindly, Randall!
Love the colors. Beautiful!
Thank you, Cristina!
Beautifully captured! I have a dozen or so water hyacinths in my pond. Their flowers are lovely, but not quite as intense as your plants.
Thank you, C.S. Water hyacinths are nice to have in a pond, do they overwinter or do you have to bring them inside?
Yes, overwinter in a bucket in my garage, but they usually die from too little light. I read in one of my pond books to over winter them in sand. Will try that next fall.
These are striking!!!
Thank you, Dev! I love hyacinths and these with their jewel tones really caught my eye.
How coincidental, we live on Hyacinth Court ๐. Beautiful! I’ve learned about so many flowers on your page.
