Silent Sunday – Deep Cold

The deep cold continues… it is January after all. Saturday morning at dawn the temperature outside was –7ºF (–21ºC). Not much flowing water can be seen at the waterfall, but the icicles are great!

    Nice ice image Eliza!

  3. Happy icicles! It’s good they finally materialized, even at the cost of enduring –7°.

  4. Maria says:

It is very beautiful!! We have much warmer weather around 27F.

The beautiful world of icicles ~ great shots Eliza.

    Very beautiful Eliza!

  7. Beautiful ice and great compositions! I haven’t been very successful with ice here. There’s always snow on it and it melts and freezes over and over again, making it look cloudy.

Thank you! With the up and down weather here, there have been many reiterations, constantly building up then melting again. We’re in a warm spell now, so when the next freeze happens starting Sunday, we’ll be back at it again. 🙂

Great icicle shots. Stay warm and safe. 😊
