Birthday Cake

IMG_8963I took a photo of this Zinnia blossom because I thought it looked like a tiny birthday cake, complete with candles aglow. It wasn’t until I processed the photo on my computer that I saw someone was already eating it.

    Very apt! I find it funny how often I see “visitors” in photos that my eye missed, especially in photos of floral arrangements – and of course, they’re always gone when I go look for them!
