I like your new spring header! And these shadows seem to emphasize the sun — they look warm & cheerful.
Thank you very much. 🙂 This plant takes up a huge part of my sunny living room and I love looking at the patterns it makes. It is a winter buddy!
Great patterns with the leaves. Have a happy Sunday. xo
Thank you and same to you!
Shadows mean warm sun! Great shots as always Eliza. 🙂
Thanks so much, Karen. 🙂
Very cool!
Thank you, Mary!
Looks tropical to me. Maybe it’s because snow is forecast that I see it that way.
This is my giant philodendron in the living room – it has grown so large, it is like a piece of furniture.
We only got a light dusting of snow and it has melted already. 🙂
Your shadows look tropical, like palm leaves on a deck somewhere warm with a turquoise colored sea. Beautiful. 🙂
Thank you, Robin. In the winter, I pretend it is so! 😉
For a minute there I thought you traveled to a more tropical climate! So savvy of you to have such a great winter buddy. Forsythia!
My buddy is a great air cleaner, too. 🙂
Glad you noticed the new header!
So beautiful…! 🙂
Thank you, Ana!
Oh, Eliza. I so love your work.
Thank you SO much, Kim! 🙂 That means a lot to me.
Nice shadows of your “winter buddy.”
🙂 Thanks!
I can’t wait until I see some shadows of leaves outside! It’s getting somewhat green here, but I think we’re still a bit away from that.
Yes, we have to wait until May for that!
We have 3-5 inches of snow predicted for Thursday – I thought we were at least past that!
March is always unpredictable!
It is! We ended up with an inch, maybe – but north of here, they had almost a foot.
Wonderful shadow patterns.
Thank you, Fi 🙂
just lovely shadows!
Thank you, Ann. I love watching the patterns move across the floor during the day.
So beautiful! And I love how each different color of the photo plays up the shadows in different ways. They are very soothing to look at! Shadows and reflections are some of my favorite things to take pictures of. They seem to be often overlooked in person but in photos they are more prominent.
Thank you so much, Kim. Shadows really show objects in a different dimension.

Let’s not forget to cherish and celebrate not just beautiful things themselves but the shadows and reflections and edges of things, the lines and indentations and surfaces and textures….these things are beautiful too and often overlooked. These photos are a beautiful reminder! ❤ 😀
Beautiful concept and photos! Have a good week, Eliza!
Thank you so much, Jane! Enjoy yours as well.
Oh fun! Wonderful discovery, compositions and processing!
Thank you, Denise, much appreciated!
Cool shadows and you have captured some very interesting patterns. Great work.
Thank you very much, Otto, your comment is greatly appreciated!
Lacy and sexy!! Woo Hoo!! Oh yeah, Baby, leaves!! Hurray!! 🙂 ❤
😀 You crack me up, Amy. ❤
