Nature Brings me Life

I just love this poem by Ihsan Jaffer – it describes how I feel perfectly!

Nature revives my soul to life
Sitting under the smiling sun
Lying on a warm bed of grass
I sing a hymn with the flowers

When I feel the darkness coming
Nature revives my soul to life
My arms spread wide like the ocean
The breeze takes me to my heaven

I dance my heart out in the rain
Soaked in mercy from head to toe
Nature revives my soul to life
I laugh out loud and thank the skies

The face of beauty everywhere
The world full of splendid light
Whenever I feel dead inside
Nature revives my soul to life

Such a delight! Thank you for passing this along. I haven’t been to Ihsan’s site lately so I have to catch up. What a gem (of many) you’ve selected here. Let’s hear it for the healing power of nature… Yay! 🙂
