I think that’s one of the prettiest amaryllis I’ve seen !
Thank you, Julie. It is one of the more delicate varieties, very pretty, I agree!
So elegant!
Thank you, Audrey! I like their more delicate blooms.
This is glorious, Eliza. 🌸
Thank you, Flavia. They are adding a bit of spring to my winter. 🙂
Very lovely markings and shape!
Thank you, Allison. I’m loving these smaller, more delicate blooms.
Hi Eliza. How lovely to see a flower! It’s that point in winter when I am beginning to feel a bit desperate for colour. We don’t get back to Le Shack until the end of the month but I keep picturing our spring bulbs all just beginning to poke their heads out of the ground and can’t wait to see them.
MJ
Thanks, MJ. Forcing bulbs is a great way to work a bit of spring into our winter. 🌷🪻Are you housesitting?
Hi Eliza. Yes we are house-sitting near Strasbourg .One dog and three cats. Keeping us busy!
MJ
Cleopatra indeed. Lovely kind lady 🤗❤️🙏
Thanks, Mark 🙂
Wow – what a beauty! 😍
Thank you, Anna! Lots of buds, too. 🙂
😍😊
Thanks, Rupali!
Aww what a beauty Eliza and she looks so happy! 🤍✨️ xxx
Thank you, Xenia, she is definitely sharing her happiness!
Very pretty indeed 🙂 🙂
Thank you, Anne!
Magnificent!!! So many flowers at once. You must be thrilled looking at that. Is this a new…1st time growing this one? The red edging on the petals is super pretty. My ‘Apple Blossom’ from last year has just started growing…maybe 1 1/2″
Thanks, Alice. Yes, new this year, ordered online with my fall bulbs. My regular HD ones, I put in the garden this summer and they did well. I potted them up a few weeks ago, hopefully they’ll bloom in 6-8 weeks.
She’s a beauty! 😁
Thank you, Cathy!
Love these plants. Don’t know why I don’t buy one for myself
Thanks, Dawn. They are so easy!
Absolutely beautiful. Do you keep your bulbs from year to year?
Thank you, Judy. I generally do, to mixed results. Last summer, I learned from a blogging buddy to put them in the garden to replenish. They grew fat and healthy. After a rest period, I just potted them up a few weeks ago, so we’ll see how they do. Fingers crossed!
So much lovely detail in the Amaryllis.
Thank you, Pepper!
That one has interesting coloring.
Thanks, I love the markings.
wow, I’ve never seen this color…beautiful!
Thank you, Sylvia. I’m intrigued with many of the new varieties that are smaller and thinner petaled. I’m pleased with this one!
It’s a beautiful flower. I smiled to see the snow outside the window in the first photo; that’s reason enough to grow such indoor gems!
Thanks, Linda. Glad you noticed! We received 5″ fresh, fluffy snow yesterday, providing a nice contrast to this tropical bloom.
Wow! What a gorgeous amaryllis!
Thank you, Barbara! I’m enjoying this new purchase I slipped into my fall bulb order. Might have to make that a regular thing. 😉 Did you notice the 5″ of new snow outside the window? 😀
I had not noticed the snow, I only had eyes for the stunning flower. That sure looks like a heavy, wet snow now that I’m looking.
Oh my! Those colors are stunning.
Thank you, Alys!
She’s looking great, Eliza! Mu Hippeastrum are in pots outside and, despite above average temperatures, they’re taking their time getting their bloom on.

It took me a while to figure out that in the wild, Hippeastrum bloom in spring. Perpetuated as a Christmas sales plant from African imports, naturally they bloomed in their spring, our fall. But keeping them in the northern climes, they revert back to spring blooming. Now I treat my old stock as March/April bloomers!
Wow…what a spectacular Amaryllis!
Thank you, Monika, it’s a fun one. 🙂
Very pretty!
A showstopper and glamorous beauty 🤩❤️💚🤍
After months of deep sleep the gift joy emerges to shine hope on us.
Wonderful !!
