A great collection of pollinators in action, Eliza.
Thank you, Sandy. 🙂
Look at you —creating spaces for nature to replicate itself. Love it!!!
Thank you, Dawn. 🙂 If you build it, they will come!
This is a lovely selection of interesting pollinators!
Thank you, Anne. It is interesting to note that we have over 400 species of native pollinators here. I generally only note a few, but good to know there are more.
Gorgeousl garden shots and garden Eliza. Have to let you know, in spite of our 100 foot clearance of vegetation outside our fences for fire prevention, we now had to clear a 5 feet perimeter of all plants lovingly nutured around all three of our buildings. 17.5 years of tending bulbs, perennials, natives, all that flower, all that are prospering and reproducing. I’m paving paradise and putting up a parking lot.
Thank you, Cindy.
Ugh, that must be so upsetting. Is this mandated by the town, where you get fines for non-compliance?
You’ve created a lovely gallery of pollinators. We will be forever in their debt.
Thank you, Alys. We owe them so much more consideration than they have been getting.
Agreed!
Very special creatures and great photography!
Thank you very much, Flavia!
And in full swing Eliza, color everywhere 🤗❤️🙏
Loving it!
How wonderful to have so many important winged friends visiting your flowers!
Absolutely, so grateful for their presence here!
a wonderland of petals and wings!
Truly! Pleased to have them on the property. 👏🏼
Nice collection of pollinators at work. Wondering what the ones in picture #4 are? Looks like summer is in full swing up north there!
Thanks, Barbara. These are from my archives over a few years, so not all in attendance today. Not sure of the ID of the beetles on the deer bane flowers. They are only about 1/8″ long, tiny!
A nice variety.
Thank you. I was surprised by how many different photos I have of the visitors I’ve seen.
The variety of pollinators, the association of many with specific flowers, and the creative ways they find to nurture themselves and do their work is truly amazing.
Agreed. I love seeing them do their thing.
Oh, nice! Heartening, too.
Thank you, Laurie. Good buddies to have!
A beeeautiful collection of pollinators Eliza. Thank you 💐
Thank you, Val. The best friends to have in a garden!
🦋🩵💚🌤️🐝💐 totally bright & lovely!! 🤗
Thank you, Susan!
Nice capture, Eliza! While the bees (and the hummers) are always active here, I’m finally seeing some butterflies with the arrival of warmer (hot!) temperatures.

Thank you, Kris. Once our heat starts, I expect we will be seeing more as well.
Wonderful capture, Eliza.
Thank you, Dale!
All very lovely…(Suzanne)
Merci, Suzanne!
A lovely array of visitors to your garden Eliza. 🐝🦋
Thank you, Cathy. A motivating bunch!
What a wonderful variety of pollinators Eliza! 💖🦋🐝 xxx
Thank you, Xenia! 🙂
Thank you for sharing the message of pollinator week and some of your pollinators and flowers. I’m seeing far fewer insects this year than in years past, and am very concerned.
Same here, but I am hoping that once the weather warms, we’ll see more. Fingers crossed!
Let’s keep hoping!
It looks like the butterflies are busy! Lovely 😊
Thank you, Belinda, nothing makes me happier!
Such pretty hosts … and such busy diners!!
Yes, indeed… thanks, Debbie!
Hi Eliza! I’m Karen. Found my way over from Robin’s blog – Breezes at Dawn- in search of active bloggers and wow what a beautiful blog you have! Your flowers are gorgeous. Love this space for pollinators. I actively gardened in my past. Now I live in an apartment but I still do what I can with small space and containers.
Hi Karen, thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog. While I certainly enjoy seeing the fruits of my labor, I find the most joy in hearing a buzzing, humming garden. 🙂
What a beautiful collection of all the visitors to your wonderful landscape and gardens!🙂
Thank you, S. I’ve been seeing lots of tiger swallowtails this week. They seem to love sipping the mountain laurel. 🙂
Very nice gallery of pollinators. I particularly like the one with monarch + bonus associate flying behind it!
Thanks, Adele. That photobombing carpenter bee was a fun surprise!
