Ah, beautiful! I love watching them fall. Haven’t caught them on camera yet. great shots!
Thank you, Mary. It was mesmerizing!
Amazing. I’ve been arrested by this a few times when out walking. Love the 4th picture in particular with that little glowing leaf.
Thanks, Lisa. This was a blustery day and all the oaks let go over the course of the morning. I thought it was magical!
It is!
Lucky you catching the wondrous wind fall !
Yes, I went around most of the morning with a silly grin on my face – it was delightful! 🙂
The leaves in action, how nice!
🙂 Thanks, Maria!
Delightful!
Oh, yes it was! At one point a huge gust lifted a bunch straight up until they were completely out of sight. Never seen the likes of that before. Nature always amazes and delights!
Great evocative photos Eliza, I can just imagine your day.
Thanks, Julie. Definitely brings out the child in me!
Beautiful images, Eliza 🙂
Thank you, Sreejith. Good to hear from you – hope all is well with you! 🙂
Yes, Eliza, I am doing great 🙂
Got settled in a new job and ‘slowly but surely’ back in blogosphere 🙂
Have a beautiful day ahead 🙂
Dancing leaves, love it.
🙂 Thank you!

Oh, to dance among the leaves and the wind!
Yes! Like the fairies! 🙂

Wonderful. 🙂

You captured Fall! How wonderful! Love this series, and agree with Lisa about the 4th one with the glowing leaf. 🙂
Glad you loved it – I’d been wanting to capture leaves falling the past few weeks, but hadn’t got anything like this. It took a really blustery day! Thanks, Robin. 🙂
Fantastic pictures! I love these!
Many thanks, Sarah. Always brings out the kid in me. 🙂
Well-captured! It looks pretty much like that here too this week!
Thanks, Cathy. Yep, nothing but dormant trees now ’til spring.
I LOVE the sound of falling leaves. Oh, these images are SO cool!!! Just gorgeous, Eliza!!! ❤
Thank you, Amy. You’d have loved it! 🙂
I tried recording the sound of falling leaves from my backyard but the street noise was too loud. Darn! I still have the recording so whenever I want to, I can listen to it and remember the day I stood in our backyard and listened to the falling leaves. (smile) ❤
Oh, yes! Another favorite is the ‘shishing’ sound of the wind in the leaves on a summer’s day. I miss that in the depths of winter.
Me too, Eliza!!!
A beautiful view of letting go. Thanks Eliza. 🙂
It was a deluge! 😉
Nice catch… it’s snowing leaves 😀
That it was! Thanks, Ann. 🙂
So realistic…..I can almost hear the wind rustling the leaves:)
🙂 Some day I’m going to figure out .gif files so I can make them fall endlessly!
SUPER captures Eliza… full of creativity, movement and FUN!
Many thanks, Denise! Definitely fun!
Wow – fabulous shots!
Thanks, Fi!
These are wonderful, Eliza. I’ve always wanted to capture leaves falling. Seeing your images felt right. Thank you.
Thank you, Sharon!
I wish I’d thought of that!
I’d been trying all fall, but without great success. This day I captured leaves in spades! Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
Oh this is evocative. I can almost hear the sound as they fall.
Isn’t that a magical sound? I just love being in a swirl of leaves!
