A delight Eliza, the yellows go on forever. Thank you 😀❤️🙏
Thank you, Mark!
Springtime
The best time of year for me!
What a lovely start to Spring.
Thank you, Vicki. A celebration of color, winter is over!
My kind of heaven!
Glad to hear it, Sandy. I can’t get enough of them! 🙂
They’re different from one another, yet similar. And all are beautiful.
Thank you, Audrey. For over 30 years, I’ve added new ones and have quite a collection now!
Is the spring coming?
Spring has arrived! 🤩
Hi Eliza. What a lovely collection! We are off to the tulip fields and gardens of Amsterdam this morning. It’s somewhere I have always wanted to see so I am very excited. Keukenhof Tulip Gardens are a showcase, 7 million tulips I think! My next blog should be a flowery one!
MJ
Thank you, MJ. I am very envious! Are you bringing your bikes? That way you can get away from the crowds. 🙂 Enjoy!
Hi Eliza. No we were too far away for cycling so borrowed a car. And it was crowded!! But still great.
MJ
These are delicately pretty blooms: daffodil heaven indeed!
Thank you, Anne. It is a delight to see so many at once. 🙂
Gorgeous
Merci, Sheree!
Such a variety! You planted all of them?!! The frilly ones and the peachy center are especially pretty.
There were a few old-fashioned ones when we moved in over 30 years ago. Adding a few every year and dividing has resulted in quite the show!
Even though I am on a blogging break I had to look at this beautiful picture. Love daffodils!
Thanks, Laurie. I expect your garden is waking up as well. Such a happy time of year for a gardener. 🤩
Not all daffodils appeal to me, but these are especially pretty; that touch of peach does it!
Thank you, Linda. I like the unusual ones, and boy, there are LOTS of cultivars and species to choose from!
I’ve never seen a daffodil I didn’t like so these certainly brought a smile.
Thank you, Judy, glad you enjoyed them! 🙂
What is the name of the first one? It’s gorgeous (well, they ALL are, aren’t they?)!
I think that one is ‘Salome.’ It turns a deep coral.
Beautiful daffodils Eliza, they look so happy 💛 xxx
Yes, they spread cheer so freely. Thanks, Xenia! 💛💚
Such an emblematic sign of spring…pretty daffodils.
Thank you, Monika! They bring me much joy. 🙂
So cheery!
Thanks much, spring is such a delight!
Full of cheer!!
Indeed, thanks, Val!
I love daffs. One of my favorite parts of spring. So cheery.
Thanks, Debra. It really is a joy to behold!
Thanks for taking us to daffodil heaven, Eliza…I enjoyed it so much.
🙂 Glad to have you visit, J&A.
Such a beautiful spring flower.
Thank you, I totally agree! 🙂
So good to finally see some flower blooming. It has also started in my garden and it feels so good. (Suzanne)
Thank you, Suzanne. Spring really lifts the spirits!
Such splendid shots, Eliza! Thanks for sharing them here. Nothing says “Spring” quite like a daffodil!
Thanks much, Debbie!
Perfect 🙂
Thank you, Saania!
🙂
Beautiful and pristine. Mine are already almost gone.
Thank you, Kris. I try to have early, mid-and late-season varieties for an extended season. The earlies have gone over, with a warm week ahead, the rest will go quickly, alas.
What a great variety, Eliza!
Thank you, Dale. I’m astonished how wide that variety has become over the years. 🙂
I thought of you as I took a walk this evening. One house had four varieties!
Aw, nice! A joy shared is a joy doubled. 🙂
You bet!
A stunning variety, I love the colors!
Thank you, Donna!
These are so cheering.
Thank you, Alys, glad you liked them. 🙂
Heaven. indeed. Vivid yellows and beautiful groups of daffs.
Thanks, Tom!
So beautiful! Love the peachy ones.
Thank you, Cindy!
So lovely to see 😊
Thank you, Belinda!
A lovely mix of these cheery flowers Eliza. I have only a few hanging on!
Thanks, Cathy. A spell of warm temps are pushing them over quickly. We enjoy them while they last!
Beautiful. I almost missed that it was a slideshow until I read a few of the comments, so I was really in for a treat when I scrolled through. They’re awesome and are all so healthy looking!
Thank you, Frank. Ever since I started dumping 5-10-10 liquid fertilizer on the clumps right after bloom and deadheading, the results have been amazing!
A couple of these (next to last photo) are gifts from you. 🙏🏼 They are really full-flowered this year and probably in need of dividing, then I’ll have twice as many to enjoy!
Did you ever put extras on the berm out back? A hill of them there would be a gorgeous sight.
Striking variations!
Gracias, Maria!
What an abundance of joy over there in your daffodil heaven!
Yes! 🙂
That’s what i call it ……heaven!
It certainly feels that way. 🙂
Oh, my absolute favourites 😀
Thank you, Jill, glad you enjoyed them!
Love all the heavenly flowers and colors of spring!! Looks like it’s been a beautiful beginning to spring in your backyard!🙂
Thanks, the flowers have been amazing this year. Perhaps it was all that rain last year? A reward for all those dreary days and wash-outs. 🙂
