Nice! I like the detail of all those little ice crystals! And the leaf veins too.
Thank you, Audrey!
That is so pretty!!
Thank you, Dale!
😊
Fall’s icing on the cake!
Surely is! 🙂
That’s a nice one, Eliza!
Thank you, Steve!
My goodness, is that snow on the ground?
Yes, we got over 2″ Wed. and it stuck around until yesterday. Now it properly looks like November out there!
Wow!
Frosty shivers. The name certainly didn’t help melt the snow off……I like the shape of those leaves, but I’m not particularly ‘happy’ seeing snow so close by!
Yes! It finally all melted yesterday.
Brrrrrr!!
Definitely!
Oh so frosty! The poor plant went from too hot to too cold much too quickly!
Yes, it is looking a bit burnt, but still holds it leaves!
Lovely colors, textures and detail!
Thank you, Donna! 🙂
Boy, that looks wintery!
Glad it still doesn’t look that way today! 😀
It looks like winter has shown up already. We are heading back to the 80s after hitting the high 30s.
There is usually an early storm that melts away after a few days. We’re back to the 50s for a few days, yay.
Fantastic shot! Our weather imitates ours, I’ll have to get out of the house and see whether we have frost like that.
Thank you, Hien!
This is a perfect illustration of very cold!
Thanks, Anne. It was probably around -5C at the time. At least we are back to about 10C today.
Gosh, what a beautiful image. Looks like winter pushed its mild cousin out of the way in your area. Hope autumn returns soon.
Thank you, Monika. Yes, today is pleasant and in the mid-50s, not too bad. 🙂
Outstanding! Hopefully that’ll help melt the white stuff quickly.
Lovely photo, but I have to admit, I’m happier you’ve got it where you are than if it were here! We’re having a string of nice, warmer weather that I’m loving.
Thanks, Debbie. Enjoy the pleasant weather while it lasts!
What a beautiful Eliza, hope you’re all keeping warm! 🧡
Thank you, Xenia. Temps have improved since Wed. and the snow has melted, yay!
you are making me feel chilly
Ha, I can see why! 🙂
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Winter’s jewellery! 🙂
Perfect analogy, Adele. Thank you!
What a lovely capture Eliza 💐
Thank you, Val, it was a very frosty morning!
So pretty!
Thank you, Belinda!
Even though I’m still muttering about snow and winter, I absolutely love this shot!!🙂
🙂 Thanks, S!
Beautiful. I love frost on vegetation. If I’m not mistaken, it looks as though you also received some snow.
Thank you, Tanja. Like you, our first snows generally melt away, giving us a bit of time to prepare for the inevitable permanence. 🙂
Frosting on an autumn cake! I’ll have a bit, thank you! (But just not yet.)
It is pretty, I must admit, but I’d like a bit more time to complete my autumn garden chores. 🙂
Does that mean that you didn’t get a warm-up following that first blast of snow?
Yes, the temps are back to 40-50s daily, 30s night. The snow is gone and fall chores continue!
Beautiful! I love the details in this image, Eliza. Well done. 🙂
Thank you, Robin!
Beautiful observation. It’s amazing how rich the colors and details are in that little scene.
Thank you, Susie. 🙂
It is so beautiful that I can feel the chill. 😁
Thanks, Pepper. Lots more chilly days ahead!
Great close-up detail. Can’t believe it’s that time of year … already!
IKR? Time flies, does that mean spring is only weeks away? 😉 Thanks, Denise!
Your picture of frost really smokes it.
🙂 Thanks, Steve.
It made me smile how the leaves seem to have turned their backs against the cold.
And once it melted, the whole bush stood right back up. 🙂
