Gorgeous!
Thank you, Jim!
This flower has so much texture, very beautiful! 🥰
Thank you, John. I’ve never seen one quite like it. Quite flashy, like a Spanish dancer!
Yes, that is a brilliant perspective!
Lovely! A breath of the tropics 🌞
Thank you, Ellen. Figured we could use a bit of warmth and color!
I love the hibiscus flower. I have a family member from Tonga who extracts dyes from the different color hibiscus flowers for decorating the traditional tapa cloths. A beautiful art.
Thank you, Roger. Those cloths must be quite beautiful.
So vibrant!
Thank you, Sandy. I thought the same. 🙂
Before you know it!
Yes! Luckily, I can visit a couple of local greenhouses for a plant fix. Cheaper than a flight to the tropics! 😉
Stunning!
Thank you, Cindy, I was quite taken by it!
Luscious!
Just what I thought when I saw it. Thanks, Alice!
Beautiful. 😊
Thank you, Pepper!
Pingback: Wordless Wednesday – Hibiscus | Purplerays
The texture of the petals is particularly appealing: quite velvety, it seems.
Yes, it was a beautiful bloom, I loved its vibrant color.
WOW! what a great February welcome!
Thank you, Catharine, a little tropical warmth to bask in. 🙂
That’s a beauty!!
Thank you, Chris. It took my breath away!
What a burst of red beauty! It sure heats up these cold days.
Thanks, Laurie. That was my aim! 🙂
That is a pretty one…what greenhouse have you been in???
Thanks, Amy. There’s a butterfly conservatory nearby that I visited recently. It was a lovely break from the cold. 🙂
Aha! It’s funny, the Hibiscus just started flowering in earnest here and there is yours!
Thank you – I ‘needed’ that on this cold Wednesday. 🙂
My pleasure, Judy. I figured a little tropical warmth today would be welcome. 🙂
That is a beauty! Love the two colours 🙂
Thank you, Dale. It was so vibrant!
Seriously!
Surely you *don’t* have a Hibiscus in bloom, do you, Eliza?? Surely, this must have been lingering in your camera since last spring or summer, right? Boy, is it stunning though!
Thank you, Debbie. It was taken at a local greenhouse. It was nice to be in a ‘garden’ again!
❤️🤗❤️🤗😍
🙂 Thank you, Susan!
I hope this photo signifies a recent trip to a nice warm conservatory, Eliza 😉
It does indeed. My sister and I visited a butterfly conservatory 2 wks ago. It was a wonderful treat!
Beautiful. I’ve never seen a Hibiscus with two contrasting colours like that before.
Thanks, Vicki, it must be a new hybrid, for I hadn’t ever seen one like that before either. It was beautiful indeed!
Oh what a beauty!
Thank you, Barbara!
Now that cheers up a cold 🥶 day. Thanks Eliza 🌺
My pleasure, Val. Stay cosy!
We have the fire going. Ready to strip off the layers and then cuddle in for the night. Dreaming of hibiscus and flowers that reach for the warmth of the sun in months to come. ❤️
Just what this grey cold day needed. Lovely!
Thank you, Belinda, glad to oblige! 🙂
❤️ Beautiful ❤️
Thank you, Donna!
What a beauty, Eliza! ❤️
Thank you, Jane!
Gorgeous and I’m already looking forward to seeing your beautiful garden this year!🙂
Thank you! 🙂
Nice
Thank you!
WOW … what a beauty! Red doesn’t get any more red than that!
IKR? … and that is pretty much right out of the camera… I even reduced the saturation a bit!
