So amazing! Nature is beautiful, great photo!
Thanks much, John. Autumn light is esp. lovely, the slant of the sun provides a certain magic to it.
Magical light and color!
Thank you, Sandy. Right place, right time! 🙂
Definitely.
Beautiful! You’re as much a master of photography now as you are a master gardener.
Stunning autumn shot.
Thank you very much, Ruth!
Well captured, Eliza!
Thank you, Anne!
A beautiful photo in the autumn sunshine. Wonder if you got that snow. Hope it doesn’t stick around!
Thank you, Cathy. Yes, about an inch of white out there this morning, now raining. Won’t last, our first snow seldom does as the ground isn’t yet frozen.
The forecast is snow here tomorrow too Eliza! But I expect it will only be a few flakes and will melt immediately. ❄️☔️
GOR-GEE-OUS! I love this, Eliza.
Thank you very much, Dale, glad you found it appealing. 🙂
More than appealing! Very inviting, too!

Go for it! Thanks, Michele! 🙂
What does your yard look like this morning any snow?
About an inch overnight, now raining. Not expected to last, so we can enjoy it, ha!
lol I will send you any I get 🙂
Maple sunshine…and a spider has been here.
Yes, I loved that trace of web. 🙂
Love this shot. Sun ray perfectly aligned to give the leaves their shine 🍁
Thank you, Dawn. 🙂
Is that the last of the leaves? My hometown in PA had snow.
Yes, most leaves are down and we did get about an inch of snow overnight, though it is melting quickly.
What an eye you have! Magical. Also, really like the row of white pumpkins.
Thank you very much, Laurie!
Gorgeous backlit composition, Eliza. 🍁😍
Thank you kindly, Jane!
This one is magical, Eliza! You have a knack for being in the right place at the right time.
Thank you very much, Debbie. Sometimes I get lucky. 😉

Love the lighting.
Thank you, Diana!
As others have said, backlighting can do wonders.
Any idea what kind of tree it was?
Sugar maple, one of my favorite trees. I planted 10 in my yard over 30 years ago and they have grown huge!
Such pretty backlight! I like the way the specular highlights add sparkles in the background too!
Thank you very much! I timed it just right that day. 🙂
This is magical. You seem to have captured your wonder at seeing it too.
Thank you, Susan. I found the light so pleasing!
Seemingly simple but so effective. That back lighting is lovely and so fitting for autumn.
Thank you, Carol!
So nice with rich color set against a nice fog, Eliza!
Thank you, Steve!
