Pretty cow. I hope she stayed on her side of the fence – cows can be hard on gardens!
Oh, yes, well-fenced. ๐ Thanks much!
Lovely!
Thank you, Rupali!
That day lily in the foreground just makes this photo Eliza! It looks a bit tempting for her to try thoughโฆ..
Thank you, Cathy. It was a perfect comboโ a happy summer scene. ๐
Very cute โค
Thank you, Maria! x
You’re welcome. I hope you are enjoying beautiful summer days, it sure looks like it ๐ It is warmer here this week, closer to 90F.
Ooh, that is warm for you. I guess that heat dome has sunk southerly? Here, I have to remind myself not to complain about the humidity and just enjoy the warmth!
It is, I went for a long morning walk earlier and it felt like I was in Tennessee or something with the humidity.
Good for the pores. ๐
What a sweet looking gal!
Yes, I agree. ๐ Thanks, Alice!
Pretty cow. Looks like she might have been out a little late last night. ๐
Ha, perhaps! Thanks, Steve.
This made me smile. I wonder if daylilies are edible for cows?
Thanks, Susan… don’t know, but they sure love hay and clover. ๐
Perfect way to start this Wednesday! I have a soft spot for cows because my grandparents had a small dairy farm, and, of course, I love all daylilies. So, thank you, Eliza, for the smile as I enjoy my coffee and my blog reading. ๐
Thank you, Judy! I have a similar fondness for dairy cows as I grew up between 2 farms and they were literally in our back yard. ๐
Yes! I like cows. I love orange ditch lilies. A perfectly wonderful photo if’n you ask me.
Thank you, Ally. She was quite cooperative. ๐
what a sweet and so peaceful picture.
Thank you, Michele. I love cows (and their calves). ๐
Her “corsage” matches her outfit perfectly!
Yes! ๐
Gently beautiful.
Thank you, Dale, she posed so well!
She did! And she looks so lovely next to the wild lily!
๐
Sweet face and a bonus daylily! Nice to see this cow is in a pasture doing what cows should do.
Thanks, Laurie, she lives just up the road. Not so many farms as there once was, I’m glad to have this one.
Hi Eliza. Now if only that day lily had been on the cow’s head, like a hat!! Off into flights of fancy here. Rain has stopped us cruising for the day and we’re going stir crazy. Hope your weather better than ours.
MJ
Thanks, MJ. Equally soggy here, plants are full and lush, though. ๐
how now cow
be you male or female
milk or meat
supple teatz
Cows are such kind creatures. I have great memories of petting and befriending cows on my aunt’s farm when I was a little girl.
Yes, most are quite sweet. I always had a favorite every summer that I would feed clover to over the fence. โค
Awww….my heart just melted! This is such a fabulous photo!
Thank you kindly, Terri! ๐
A perfect pose.
Aww what a sweet cow Eliza ๐
Thank you, Xenia. She exudes placidity, doesn’t she? ๐
She truly does ๐
๐๐โฅ๏ธ๐คฉ love it!
๐ Thanks, Susan!
Moo, to you, too! Such a cute cow!
๐ Thanks, Tina!
I have to wonder if, once she turns away from the camera, she’s going to eat that daylily…
I know deer eat Lilies and my Hemerocallis are similarly edible if they get a crack at them. Cows, not sure. ๐
What a stunning portrait! Looks like she’s ready for the pages of her yearbook. What did you offer her to eat for posing so prettily?!?
Thank you, Debbie. She was on her side of the fence and I stayed on mine. ๐
Aw I so cute! Nice! ๐
Thanks, Lily!
MoooOOOooo! ๐
๐ They love it when you talk their language. ๐
๐
What a fun shot! The orange flower says it all๐
๐ Thanks much!
Sweet photo!
Thank you, Belinda! ๐
I love this, Eliza! Flowers always add a beautiful touch to any subject!!
Thank you, Donna. I think they suited her well. ๐
What a beauty! Love the photo.
Happy Thursday!
Thank you, Veronica!
Great Image Eliza! Made me Smile!!
Glad to hear it, thanks, Reed!
I hope she is not going to eat that day lily!
She seemed pretty content with the grass. ๐
๐
Love the wonderful photo!!๐
Thank you very much! ๐
The expression in the cow’s eyes! Lovely!
Thank you, cows are so mellow. ๐
Yes, they seem pretty laid back accepting creatures.
Great composition, Eliza!
Thank you, Allison!
A happy summer smiling photo!! It’s PERFECT! I love it!! โค๏ธ
Thanks much!
So good cow.
Thank you!
Ah! Caught her looking right at you. The flower is a perfect touch. ๐
Thanks, Irene, she was a perfect subject!
Oh what a pretty portrait next to the daylilies!
Thank you, Denise, sometimes I get lucky! ๐
This is about the sweetest cow photo I have ever seen, Eliza. The cow’s complacent gaze, the bits of grass in its mouth, and the daylily peeking out. A happy day here, thank you.
Thank you, Jet. I’ve always had a soft spot for cows. ๐
I always smile when I find a cow-and-flowers combo, but I’ve rarely found one as attractive as this.
Wow, thank you very much, Linda!
And to think — I don’t even like daylilies much. Maybe if more daylilies came with cows attached, I’d be more inclined toward them!
Ha, yes! Ditch lilies aren’t too popular, but some of the hybrids are quite pretty, esp. the light yellow and peachy ones. You can’t ask for a tougher plant!
Lovely scene
Thank you, Prati!
Lovely colour coordination!
Thank you, Carol!
She’s struck a nice pose ๐
Thank you, Adele!
Im loving taking photos of the cows around at tbe moment. Looks like im not the only one๐
๐ Livestock always make good subjects.
She is lovely
Thank you!
