Love the textures and light!
Thank you, Val. ๐
I like your composition.
Thank you Micheal. I’m missing your posts!
Ah, thanks! One of my classes is accelerated, and it ends next week. The other class (short story writing) is gearing up for the final project. Soon it will cool down, and I will have more time to venture back out to explore. I look forward to that!
I bet you are, it has been a long summer for you!
The worst! With the heat, we can’t leave them outside, and we can’t leave the Shredder Dog alone inside.
Ha-ha, Shredder Dog! ๐ Very apropos.
Love this shot Eliza.
Thank you, Karen.
Lovely tones. Makes me want to go inside.
Thank you!
Great shot. Love it.
Thank you, Sylvia. ๐
Gorgeous!
Thanks, Fi!
What a great shot! Love the texture of the wood. Then there are the three bottles in the window. Wonderful!
Thank you, Laurie. This is a neighbor’s barn; I’d never noticed the bottles until just the other day when the sun hit them just so.
A beautiful shot! It would make a lovely card or framed photo.
Thank you. My spouse has been nudging me in that directionโฆwe’ll see!
I love this photo!
Thank you very much! โค
wonderful picture
We love our country scenes! ๐
Love! I have some old bottles in my shed window, too, but you can’t see them through all the plants ha ha!
๐ You live in a jungle!
Lovely and peaceful. It says solitude, to me. ๐
Thank you, Peg. Living in the country is quiet and peaceful. I’m glad this image conveyed that to you. ๐
Really nice, Eliza. Bill collects bottles. I feel right at home looking at this photograph. You just keep becoming better and better! I seem to stay the same. Haha. I should take a class or something. I enjoy photography so much. Love this one!
Mary
Thanks so much, Mary. I’ve learned a lot online through photography blogs. There is a lot to learn! I’m not so into it that I mess around with light and settings, I pretty much like the auto take control and will edit later. (That advice actually came from a photography teacher!)
Thanks Eliza. Yeah, I do want to play with settings more, especially when I want a good depth of field – especially with macro. You seem to get a good depth of field with macro. I like that my lenses give me manual or auto focus options, though. Auto often doesn’t understand what I’m trying to focus on. So I think the first setting I am going to play with will be control of aperature. Otherwise I do what you said – take with automatic setting and edit later. I take way too many. I can’t keep up with myself. Lol! Photography blogs are great until I get way over my head, overwhelmed and discouraged. No, I’ve learned a lot from them. I have seen you on a couple that I follow. Always nice to see you. ๐
Mary
You’re sweet to say so! ๐
Great shot!! I’d love to see what else is in this barn. Looks like there could be treasures in there. Very pretty!
Many thanks!
I love this image!
Thank you, Ann!
