Very attractive colours.
Thank you, Anne. The yellow really lights up in the sun, a pretty plant this time of year.
Beautiful photo, Eliza!
Thank you, Leah! x
Fresh and Colorful! ๐
Thank you, Karen! One of my favorite bushes. ๐
Reblogged this on Purplerays.
Thank you for reblogging!
The leaves, they are a’changing…..
Yes, they are … not too many left now after the wind and rain. Is it May yet? ๐
Lovely colours ๐
Happy Sunday ๐ธ
Thank you, Saania!
My pleasure ๐
Love the contrast.
Thank you, Dawn. ๐
You’re welcome!
Nothing like Autumn leaves to paint our landscape in full colour. Winter is so white and grey.
Yes, indeed, thanks, Vicki!
GREAT PHOTOGRAPH ELIZA, THERE IS SO MUCH COLOUR AND CONTRAST
Thank you, China, and for reblogging! x
Reblogged this on LIVING THE DREAM.
The subtlety of fading autumn color is lovely as well. Very nice, Eliza.
Thank you, Steve. I like it when we have 3 colors on the same bush. So pretty!
I see…staying evergreen to who you are despite everyone else/everything changing. ๐
๐ Thanks, Laura!
The leaves have such a nice shape, strong veins & lovely shades.
Thank you, Alice. Fothergilla is such a pretty bush.
You’re going to sprinkle a little white stuff on those leaves this week. ๐ Happy Sunday, Eliza.
Thanks, Judy. The recent windstorm and heavy frost has already taken down most of these lovelies. So nice to have had the show we had; being a more southern native, it turns brown after a hard frost, so the slow cooling this fall made for a good show.
Beautiful colors. I like the pattern of the green leaf in the front. Whoever is nibbling on it is a little artist. ๐
Hehe, nibbles are allowed in this pesticide-free yard. ๐ Thanks, Robin!
Very Nice Eliza! Beautiful Colors & Detail!
Thank you very much, Reed. ๐
Only autumn can create so many colors in such a small area. Love it!
Thank you, Sandy. Tricolors on the same plant are so lovely.
Yes!
My thoughts on fall foliage color: if you’ve got it, flaunt it!
Hehe, thanks, Kris… we definitely had it this year. Mostly over now, but I enjoyed it while it lasted.
Beautiful colours. Ours are nearly over.
Thank you. Yes, same here. This was taken just before the wind and rain, followed by -C temps. Alas, it is November!
Amazing fall colors Eliza. You do have your own paradise ๐
Thank you, Maria! โค
Pretty, pretty! Are they covered with snow yet? We have had a little storm in Maine, and it wouldn’t surprise if the snow was here until March. I’ll be out taking pictures soon.
Thank you, Laurie. Most of the leaves are now gone. We had flurries today, but nothing stuck. Now the windchill is in the teens as the front moves through. Too cold, too soon!
These changes are not seen in Florida. Very nice!
Thank you!
Beautiful colors!
Thank you, Bela!
So bright and cheerful! I like the contrast of that little greenie guy. ๐
Thanks, Julie! I love when you get multiple colors on the same plant.
