I am guessing that those are sugar maples; but it seems that there is another odd trunk in there as well.
Beautiful.
Oh, duh. I did not see the caption above that those are red maples.
Beautiful. And it never ceases to surprise me how MANY trees of various ages are vying for space.
It’s a jungle out there… a temperate one, but still… 🙂 Thanks, M!
🙂
Gorgeous 🍁🌿🍁
Thank you, Karen!
I just love those reds!
Me, too. I never tire of them. Thanks, Pete.
Reblogged this on anita dawes and jaye marie.
Thank you for reblogging!
A lovely capture Eliza! I’m heading up to Kripalu on Thursday for a retreat … I hope I’m not too late for the amazing colors 🍁
Thank you, Val. The ride up will probably be the best color. We’re at the oak and beech stage of color, more muted, the bright maples are pretty much done. Have a great retreat!
Beautiful photo, I love the back and forth of color.
Thank you, Frank. That maple was a deep cranberry color, so rich!
So pretty! At our house, most of the bright colored leaves have fallen. Yellow and russets are left.
Thank you, Laurie. This rain is ending the brights, for sure.
Autumn fashion – Going for that layered look. 😀
Haha, yes! 🙂
Just love those Autumn colour.
Thank you… same here.
That may be my favorite shot of fall color so far!
Thank you, Kris! Glad you enjoyed it.
Actually….there’s a preliminary of Christmas colors…..red & green….
Getting ready! 😉
Beautiful photo – makes me want to get out in the woods for a walk!
Thank you, Sarah. Hope you get out there soon!
My daylight hours to do so are diminishing by the day!
😦 Lunch hour will be all that is left. Do they even give an hour for lunch anymore?
Well, as I will be sneaking in and out for it in the dark in a few weeks, perhaps no one will notice if I take a full hour.
This is what we do, many of us, on Sundays (at least): lift up our eyes looking for what often eludes us at ground level. Good photograph!
Thank you, Albert!
perfection:-) just lovely-Eliza:-)
Thank you, Robbie. Hope all is well with you!
All is well- but soon the snow will fly:-( I will miss being outside, but there is always spring! Always enjoy stopping by to see what you are doing out East:-)
Thanks for your visit, always good to hear from you. 🙂
Beautiful! Just like sunset and sunrise … I’ll never get tired of fall foliage.
Thank you, Denise. It’s true, it never gets old.
Lovely shot Eliza!
Thank you, Belinda!
The beautiful season with it’s magical colors …before everything turns white. Lovely photo 🙂
Thank you, Ann. Gray/brown monochrome before the white, but winter will be here before we know it. 😦
What an amazing show this fall! I thoroughly enjoyed it traveling across country. You have captured it so beautifully!
Thank you, Kathy. Glad you arrived safely. How are things down there post-Irma?
Things are great here in CK. Irma miraculously spared CK. I am so happy for the town since Hermoine did quite a bit of damage the year before. Can you guess our winter project? Building hurricane shutters!
Sounds like good insurance!
