He looks very surprised but is posing like a natural!
Yes, we stared at each other for a long time while I took many shots, but the second I moved a muscle, he squeaked and was gone!
Oh, so cute. Lovely capture.
Thank you, Rupali.
Yes definitely cute:)
🙂 Thanks!
Reblogged this on Anita Dawes & Jaye Marie.
Thank you for reblogging!
Eliza, that is wonderful photo! All the different natural colors and textures. Chipmunks are really cute.
Thanks, Alice, he was adorable. I found his home to be quite beautiful, esp. the green lichen.
Oh, what a little cutie he is! Lucky you to have such an adorable visitor. 🙂
Thanks, Joanne. I was out in the woods, admiring his mossy home, when out he popped!
Cute, although it looks like he is sticking his tongue out!
I know, I’m not sure if it was a tongue or his nose was out of joint for my intruding on his territory – ha!
Little buddy! I have a soft spot for chippers.
They are so darn cute. 🙂
Love those little chippers! This one actually seems to be sticking his/her tongue out at you – such personalty! I got peanuts…
It does seem that way, doesn’t it? Since we were in a hickory forest, I bet he had a pile of those!
Cute!
Thanks!
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, adorable.
Isn’t he just? They wear the prettiest coats.
So cute! Chipmunks are unknown in the wild here – in fact, had it not been for the exposure to Alvin and his brothers as a child, I might not be able to recognize one.
Ha! Yes, ‘ALVIN!!!’ I well remember his antics.
How cute! It almost looks as though he posed for you. 🙂
It felt that way – ‘this is my best side!’
Love that little guy! They are so active right now 🐿🐿🐿
Thanks, Val. Everyone is scurrying to put away winter stores.
What a friendly,little guy!
Yes, we had quite a long ‘frozen in place’ session! 🙂
We were fascinated to watch chipmunks playing when we visited Boston USA a few years ago.
They are particularly active in the fall, scurrying and chipping their alarms when the see us. Always so cute.
What a cutie, great shot!
Thank you, Belinda!
Beautiful spot, beautiful shot and very cute little chipmunk. He looks like he is sticking his tongue out. Nice of him/her to let you get a shot. I always think cameras might look like guns and be scary. I guess they can feel friendly vibes.
Thank you, Mary. I would hope that my quietness seems non-threatening, but if I were that little and saw something as big as me watching, I don’t know if I would be as brave!
Is mah best side! 😀
Gorgeous little fellow 🙂
Agreed. 🙂
I know these fellows!
Chipmunks are the cutest, aren’t they?
Yes, they sure are!
CUTE!
🙂 Thanks!
We don’t have any of these little charmers down in my neck of the woods. At least not nearby. He’s a cutie.
There seems to be a lot of them this year. Drives Wren crazy!
