Thank you for reblogging!
Love the picture of the chair, Eliza. I want to be sitting in it 🙂
Thanks, Kim. I wish I were there still. 🙂 What an incredibly beautiful day and the water was perfect – pure bliss. ❤
Just what I need!
It was a welcome break. Nothing like a day by the sea!
This chair is indeed very photogenic ^^
Thank you, Samuel. It’s my spot!
The Seagull is thinking: “I think I’ll have a rest in that chair. Yes, fries with that! “
The gulls were better behaved than in previous years when they’d raid the bags looking for food! This guy kept hoping we’d have pity upon him and throw a scrap. He waited in vain, sorry to say.
What could be better than a day at the beach?
It was pure heaven. We only make the drive once a year and this day we lucked out with perfect weather. Yay! 🙂
Beautiful series, Eliza 🙂
The last one is simply superb 🙂
Thank you, Sreejith. It was a great day, well worth the long drive.
One of those wish I was there series! Lovely shots.
Thank you, Victor. It was a PERFECT day, really. Worried about salt and salt, I took the old Sony point and shoot my spouse uses for work, but it really, really needs to be cleaned. A lot of time in post processing 😉
I know all about cleaning files and worry about the elements. Maybe I worry to much 🙂
When you’ve invested a fair amount of money into equipment, I think it is wise to be cautious. Better to be safe than sorry. To me, bringing a nice camera to the beach with its sand and salt, I’m asking for trouble!
Perfect day by the sea:)
That it was! Wish it could have been more than a day… 🙂
know the feeling……..
🙂
Good for you! Breathe deeply 🌞
Yes, indeed. Immersing myself in the buoyant sea is such therapy. ❤
Looks just like our beach from the other side of the ocean! We are looking at you from across the pond in France!
Beaches are wonderful no matter where they are! 🙂
Ooooh…how I wish I was there!
I know, who doesn’t love a day of relaxation at the beach? 🙂
So lovely *sigh* you just want to be there…! The last one makes me chuckle… nice perspective 😉
Thank you, Noortje. It was such a splendid day.
I can feel the sun & breeze on my skin, and smell the salt. I especially admire the absence of crowds. I’d love to be there.
We walk down away from the lifeguarded beaches so we end up in the middle. Surprisingly, no one came and parked next to us, which was great. The crowds came in the afternoon, mostly locals. I need lots of space and get crazy being cheek-by-jowl. I’m used to peace and quiet!
The morning was the best, smooth water and the clearest I’ve ever seen it. Delightful for swimming. I wish I could have stretched time!
If you only do this once a year, then you hit the jackpot. Good for you.
It really felt that way – we were thrilled.
Inviting scenes! Love the gull taking it all in.
Thanks, Belinda. I think the gull kept hoping I’d throw it a tidbit. But feeding the wildlife is verboten.
Oh, I loooove these!!! ❤ ❤ ❤
Thank you, Trini!
💖💖
really inviting photos – like the bird seabull
Thank you, Diana.
A good set; the last one wonderfully composed
Thank you, Derrick.
No need for words. 🙂
Indeed! 🙂
like the seagull selfie, as if he’s saying, hey, check out this plumage 🙂
🙂
so pleased you made it to the coast! Lovely shot 🙂
Thank you, Ann!
Summer at its best.
Agreed!
So glad you had that beautiful day, Eliza!
It was wonderful to swim in that lovely sea – blissful!
Ah, so you took some time off? Good for you! I hope you soaked it up!
I did absorb the wonderful energy, which sadly, doesn’t last more than a few days. It was one of the best days ever, weather-wise – perfect! Such a blessing!
Oh well, you’ll just have to do it again!
Exactly! 🙂
Oooh! A day at the beach! Looks like you had a beautiful day for it. 🙂
It was so delightful – pure bliss!
This looks like a glorious summer day 🙂
It really was! I wish we could visit the beach more often. 🙂
