I’ll go with you.
Okay, I’ll wait for you by the river. 😉
Wait for me!
🙂 Come along!
😊
I’m there already!
;-D It’s a nice walk!
No, it’s a lovely walk!
🙂
☺️
Lovely inviting path with the first signs of autumn??
Yes, kudos to you for noticing. Wild cherry trees are the first to yellow and drop. Alas, the beginning of the end to the growing season. 😦
I know, deep breath and start planning for next year!!
Exactly… Bracing myself!
Almost to the clearing? Is there a small pond ahead?
No, that is the neighbor’s yard, being cleared, it looks lighter. The path turns right at the end of the view.
Beautiful but keep a lookout for bears! 😮😊
😀 They are around at night along with coyotes, but I’m more likely to encounter deer these days.
I envy your wooded lot more with every photo, Eliza!
Thank you, Kris. It is a sweet piece of land.
What a lovely , cool looking shaded trail, Eliza . .. so inviting . ..
Thank you. It’s just a small part of our walking loop. Well worn, well loved. 🙂
Nothing like a woodland path. I’m game. Count me in too. I’m running to catch up.
Cool and green. What a lovely path!
Thank you, Laurie. Our daily walk!
Very inviting … I’d love to walk right into that scene!
Thanks, it is a nice place to walk. 🙂
Such a lovely path – and a bit of a reminder of autumn. At the lake so many leaves have already fallen due to our drought conditions. I actually woke up chilled this morning! 55F seemed quite chilly after days and days of sun, high humidity and high 80F temperatures. Made the coffee taste even better.
It’s true, coffee does taste better in chilly weather! Our wild cherry trees always yellow and fall in August, it seems. Getting us prepared for what’s to come.
This looks like heaven, Eliza. How long does it take to walk the entire path?
Without lingering, about 15 minutes. But there’s a bench looking upstream in the woods, and the Adirondack chairs above the river that beg a moment of solitude that I rarely pass up. 😉
Even more of heaven, with those places to pause & listen.
Soul soothing, required for mental health! 🙂
