The art of nature…beautiful!
Thank you, Noortje!
More frozen flowers
Yes, spiky ones! Thanks for your visit, Derrick.
I love all your ice photos:)
Thank you very much! A lot of variety this year.
Very pretty and pretty cold. 🙂
Yep, sure is! 😉 Thanks, Bun.
Spectacular! Now wouldn’t those make a lovely grouping in a frame?
Yes, they would. 🙂 Thanks, Laurie!
I am just loving this series. My stepdaughter recently bought herself a camera and some gear. I really hope she explores photography in such a way that brings about a sense of her organic self. That is what I see in your work.
Thank you, Kim. I hope she enjoys it. It really hones your power of observation as well as gets you outside in all weathers. 🙂
Ouch! Beautifully lethal.
😀 Thanks, Dor!
It’s a star …kind of. Beautiful ice photos 🙂
Thank you, Ann. It’s a quasar! 🙂
Ah makes summer seem so boring ha! Great artwork in nature.
Thank you, Karen. It certainly helps pass the time. 😉
Striking! I especially love the first… it has a lot of energy to it!
Thank you, Denise. Yes, it looks like an starburst, doesn’t it?!
All gorgeous, but that first one is breathtaking. 😀
Thank you, much appreciated!
I can hear the crackle from her! Great capture Eliza
Thank you, Val! 🙂
Wowza Eliza, love that first shot.
Thank you very much, Karen.
Absolutely amazing! I love how it’s pointed like this! Another beautiful capture! 😀
Thank you, Kim!
Gorgeously cold. Beautifully crystalline. What shapes!
Thanks, Lisa!
Mother Nature’s artwork. Fabulous.
She is the best artist! Thanks, Gigi.
I love these photos. This would have to be close to home – looks to cold to go trudging in search of such magic. These can’t be just everywhere, can they? Especially like the last one. And the first one. And the middle one.
Thanks, M. This type tends to be in puddles or shallow, quiet parts the stream (the middle one).
Your ice photos are wonderful and I am content to view the ice from the Deep South after contending with it for most of my life! It is worthy of study, and yours is terrific!
Thank you so much, Jayne. Are you a snowbird or a permanent resident?
This is such a beautiful series, Eliza. Abstract art from you, Mother Nature, and Old Man Winter. 🙂
Thanks, Robin, I’ve got a Great Team to work with. 😉
So cool! Love these Eliza! 🙂
Thank you, Julie!
Great textures!
Thank you, Heather. Have you been getting a lot of snow and cold?
The past few days have been quite warm, and turned our accumulation to mush. Lots of it. We are expecting more snow this week…
It’s been a very warm winter for us. 47 today – very different from last year! But I’m not complaining!
You’ve captured miracles in what may otherwise pass by unnoticed. Beautiful!
Thank you so much, Kate. It’s nice to share the beauty I see all around me. 🙂
I love these pictures! I love this whole series. Such beauty frozen in time. I meant to say the other day – can’t remember which of the series it was, but you explained how the ice sculptures happened. You explained it really well. Did I say that already? Anyway I was thinking on my drive to Abq that I wonder why you don’t write much, because you are really good at it. Maybe you don’t feel the need since a picture is…you know…I’ll say it….worth 1,000 words. Haha.
Wintry Peace,
Mary
Thank you so much for your kind compliments! Just the boost I need, ‘cuz sometimes I do wonder. 🙂 Last summer I got away from writing and more into posting my photos, but I have been thinking of upping my verbal output. Thanks for the encouragement, it is much appreciated, dear Mary.
Very n-ice!
🙂 Thanks, Fi!
Wow! Those are great shots, Eliza! You could make wonderful note cards from photos such as those.
Thank you, that’s a good thought!
Vistaprint.com More affordable than you might imagine….
Thank you!
These are beautiful Eliza! You have an artist’s eye. I can see you are enjoying the season – good for you!
Thank you, Kathy. The weather has turned very mild this week – 40s, so everything is melting! It is so weird to see the lawn in February!
Beautiful
Thank you!
