Silent Sunday

What a darling cat. Nothing says Sunday better a nap in the middle of the day.
This is my 15-year-old Manx, Squeaky, who is worthy of her name. When she isn’t squeaking for food or attention, she does this! 😉
Kinda irresistible – she’d look good on any bed or sofa.
Neutral color decor – haha! Thankfully, she chooses only one spot per season (winter/summer). It makes cleaning a whole lot easier. 😉
Pretty! Calicos are my favorite. Looks so sweet and warm. I want to pat her!
Thanks, she always manages to find a sunny spot to snooze. She is a real sweetie and loves a good petting!
Precious.
🙂 I wuv my girl!
Someone looks comfy and cozy! Blessings, Sarah
Yes, she is an expert at that! 😉
I can’t tell if God (for me) is the lovely inviting fabricor the noble, self-contained, mysterious, and beautiful cat.
Indeed…I certainly adore mine!
The back-lit ear is perfectly placed
Thank you, Derrick.
Awwwww…so sweet!
That she is! 🙂
Ohhhhhhh, this looks like my Sassy, Eliza. How this image clutched at my Heart!! ❤
I hope that wasn’t too painful…<3
No, Sassy is still with us, Eliza. It was Molly her biological sister that passed in October. Bless you for your thoughtfulness!!! ❤
Oh, good. 🙂
That’s my idea of how to spend a winter Sunday afternoon!
Exactly! Thanks, Brian.
Soooo cute!
Thank you! 🙂
Ahhhh….. you have captured the ultimate comfort and the sweetest kitty ever! 🙂
Thank you, Dor! 🙂 She is definitely a sweetie.
Oh….to be that cat 🙂
Yes, we often say we want to reincarnate as a pet in a home like ours. Life is good here for 4-leggeds!
Aww, she’s beautiful, Eliza, and looks very much like my youngest kitty, Tabitha. I noticed in the first comment you replied that she’s a Manx cat, which is very interesting, as my Tabitha has a brother, a black and white cat, with a Manx tail! So your girl has the colouring of Tabitha and the tail of Tab’s brother. 🙂
Tabitha must carry the gene then, but she is probably spayed, I assume. Spay/neuter is pretty routine here. We have to bring in dogs from down south as the program has been so widely adopted.
Yes, she was, and her brother was neutered. It would have been interesting to see what kittens a litter of her brother would have produced though, to see if any had the same Manx tail as him.
Even in ‘purebred’ Manx cats, there generally is a long tailed kitten in every litter, as short tails are a recessive gene. They make great cats as they are so social. I’ve had four since the 70’s. 🙂
Today, I’m envious Eliza! She looks so comfortable and content snuggling in. Our 3 dogs have had a day on the other end of the scale. There’s something up around here… Maybe it’s Santa or other delivery guys!
Not-so-silent Sunday at your house, eh? 😉 I saw UPS was out delivering today (double-pay!). Tons of online shopping this year keeps them hopping.
Absolutely! In the old days (3-5 years ago) we had to worry bout Santa in the fire engine causing havoc. Now external disruption is the norm… 🌟
Cats are so solemn in their sleep.
Wish I could sleep so peacefully!
I know that feeling!
🙂
So sweet ♡
That she is. 🙂 Thank you, Julie.
Pretty, pretty! The description, “As comfortable as a sleeping cat,” came to me as I looked at your picture.
Thank you. She has a knack for finding the softest and warmest sleeping spots. 🙂
Beautiful kitty! ❤
Thank you, Kim!
Cozy and oblivious. The perfect cat.
Hi Liv! So nice to hear from you, hope you are doing well. Merry Christmas!
