A cornucopia of corn! How very pretty and iconic.
Thank you, definitely a traditional symbol of the harvest!
Those corn kernels are very sharp and detailed!
Thank you, Michael! I love the variety of colored kernels that make up each ear. Some are really stunning, natural works of art. Eventually, they will become squirrel feed!
Beautiful, Eliza! Have you changed your background page? It seems different to me—maybe I am finally waking up after the long dream! ๐ I find your blog so beautiful! Your photography is superb!
Many thanks, Jane. Yes, I changed my header and background a couple weeks ago. It needed to match the season. ๐
How did you do that without losing your site? I was thinking of changing it up but then I am afraid I may lose the entire blog! LOL I was also contemplating changing the name to just Footprints of Thoughts and dispense with the present name, which I did not give a great deal of thought to—I just threw myself into it…LOL…do you think I will lose the few followers I have and how would I retain what I have written?
I don’t think you can change your blog name, but I may be wrong. You can change your subheading, but F O T is what you say you wanted anyway.
You can change themes without losing content. Follow these steps: Go to WP Admin (dashboard) > Appearance > choose Themes, Header or Background, then play around and see what you like. Good luck!
thank you, Eliza! I will try this weekend! Have a great Thanksgiving!

Makes me think of the harvest and fall- brings back memories of home ๐
Hope you have a relaxing long weekend, Kim. Enjoy!
Lovely picture Eliza! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. ๐
Thank you, Denise. Hope you have a great holiday!
Another beautiful display, you are very clever at this, Eliza! I love all of the different coloured corn cobs, just stunning. ๐
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. xx
Thank you very much, Joanne! ๐
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you enjoy your day:)
Thank you, Stephanie, and the same to you!
Very nice Eliza; โcornucopiaโ is a word I now know!
I actually have a horned cornucopia basket that I’ve never used, I always forget about it! Thanks for reminding me!
I absolutely love this!! The colors and textures are so beautiful! Thank you for sharing!! ๐
Thank You, Kim! ๐
Such beautiful detail, Eliza. A classic scene and you captured it well.
Thank you very much, Jane! Hope your holiday was a good one~
