    Had them in my fishpond Eliza. Took over the pond actually. Well, the kookaburras ate the goldfish that kept the lilies in check 🤣❤️🙏

    They are lovely! I visited a place where I usually see waterlilies earlier this week, they are so beautiful to look at.

    The slight blue tinge to the petals made me think of our native Nymphaea elegans, but the stems and leaves aren’t quite right, and it might not be possible to cultivate in your area; perhaps this is N. odorata. Species aside, they’re beautiful: one of summer’s true delights and always a welcome sight.

      Thank you, Linda. I’ve only grown waterlilies once, many years ago. Ponds are a lotta work, and anything not cold hardy has to be overwintered inside, less than ideal!
