Oh, yes!!
A happy place to be! 🙂
Abundance 🌸🌿🌸🌿
Yes, these bulb shows are so uplifting! 🙂
How lucky humans evolved to see and appreciate such gorgeous colors!! Lovely! Thank you!
Indeed, what a blessing and joy. Hope you are well and enjoying the emerging spring.
Gorgeous colours.
In regards to Spring on your side of the world, I have been wondering where all the excess snowmelt went. I know many folk (including NYC) had extraordinary snow depths this past winter.
It melts away into the ground, or trickles (sometimes gushes!) into the watershed. Streams running to rivers and on to the ocean, a great cycle. Thanks, Vicki!
So does that mean your soil is not so waterlogged as ours is at the present time (with severe flooding in our north-eastern states). Normally, we have the same cycle of water soaking into the ground as you, but we’ve had so much rain that the ground is completely waterlogged.
Flooding can happen here, but it is rare to get that amount of rain all at once, thankfully. Spring melt is generally a slow affair and while the streams and rivers may gush and tumble, there is minimal erosion. Several inches of rain, esp. one storm close to the other, can wreak havoc with our roads and wash-outs are common. Summer ’23, we had 37″ of rain in 6 weeks (nearly our average annual total!) and it caused millions in damages. Thankfully, the state helped pay for much of the repair.
So gorgeous Eliza! The colours are stunning! Love it! 🌺
Thank you, Flavia!
What a glorious sight! 😁🩷
Indeed, it was soul-lifting!
Gorgeous
Merci!
What, I thought there was snow there yesterday? 🤣 But wow, they are lovely Eliza. A sign of things to come 🤗❤️🙏
I love a good bulb display after a long winter!
Brightens the heart kind lady 🤗❤️🙏
Are these from your garden already? Surely not. But what a treasure!
Thank you, Linda. A local college annually offers a spring bulb show, and what a lift it was after the winter we’ve had!
Such a pretty spring bouquet! Like Linda I wonder if it’s from your garden so soon!
Thanks, Tina. No this was the spring bulb show put on by a local collage. It draws folks from miles around, about 20,000 people over a 10-day period. It can get rather crowded, so I pick an early weekday morning, when there’s a bit more breathing room!
Such a beautiful spring bouquet of flowers! Love it.
Thank you, Monika!
Spring dreams!
Seeing these blooms really gets the sap running! 🙂
Ahhhhh-hh! Bring on Springtime! 💖❤️💚💜💛🤍
🙂 👍🏼
I’m counting the days! We had a dusting of snow this morning.
The bulb show gets us over the hump! While our snow is melting daily, it has quite a ways to go before the ground emerges.
I can’t wait for all that color! 😁
Not too much longer I hope!
Oh Eliza, so looking forward to seeing these bloom again! 💖 xxx
A sight that makes the heart sing! 🙂
After the winter we’ve had, I’m sooo looking forward to seeing Spring bulb flowers once again. Thank you, Eliza, for a stunning preview!!
Thank you, Debbie. All that joyous color is such a lift!
Oh, lovely! Happy almost-spring!
Thank you, Beth, same to you!
So beautiful, Eliza!
Thank you, Rebecca!
Wow.
🙂 🙏🏼 💖
Coming soon, to a garden near you!!!
Yes! The past few days have been warm, so the snow is melting away!
Much appreciated on this cloudy, high-winds morning of mine!
Thank you, Donna, glad you enjoyed it. 🙂
We here in Michigan can only dream.
Yes, our winters are very long in the north!
Oh my, Eliza. Stunning.
Thank you, Alys. This bulb show never fails to lift the spirit!
What a delight 😊
Thanks, Belinda. Nothing like a spring bulb show to beat the winter blahs. 🙂
Really, really a breath of spring!
Thank you, Lisa. Soul food! 😉
