  1. Pretty but very cold. Have a great Sunday! Go Pats!

  2. That is pretty glittery Eliza. And I bet it can make lots of different sounds walking through it…or do you sliiiide over it? Have a board or two for these occasions? 🤣❤️🙏

Really beautiful, even if I’m tired of the coldness of it!

  4. Anne's avatar Anne says:

To my heat-jaded eyes, this looks very pretty indeed!

  5. Sheree's avatar Sheree says:

    Plenty of this stuff about

  6. Wonderful capture, Eliza… we haven’t had any snow this year, so I do appreciate sharing yours!

I’d be heartily tired of cold like that myself, despite the season’s beauty. To paraphrase a famous line, all that glitters can be too cold!

Yeah, it has been a challenging winter, temp-wise. Normal and to be expected, but I skip my outdoor time when it is this cold, and I really need the air. Better temps coming, yay!

Thanks for reminding me snow can be pretty. Mostly we’re just tired of it. But we DID have sunshine yesterday.

  9. Alice's avatar Alice says:

Sometimes it does look like crushed diamonds on the snow….we got at least 6 more inches, yesterday…huge snow piles, everywhere. The Birds are so hungry, keeping the feeders diligently filled & enjoying all the visitors, including 8 or more Bluebirds.

    Very cool (literally, too!)

  12. Maria's avatar Maria says:

Beautiful cold weather. I always tell the kids at work that “we are going to go and look for diamonds”.

  13. Beautiful! Our snow is frozen, but no diamonds.

  14. Karma's avatar Karma says:

The sun makes the snow pretty, and you have a very pretty example here. But can I say enough already? How many weekends in a row have we had snow now????

  15. Flowerpoet's avatar Flowerpoet says:

A lovely photo. When snow is very small and moving through the cold air, I call it fairy dust snow. So magical. 😍❄️💕

  16. Debbie's avatar Debbie says:

How gorgeous … and very festive! BUT, I for one am over this winter, with its freezing temperatures, gale-force winds, snow, and gray skies. Much nicer to sit indoors and enjoy photos like yours!

  17. It’s a cool photo. Enjoying your great Sunday.

The best kind of glitter because it melts away – eventually. I hope warmer days are in store soon, Eliza!
