Love your looking up shot!
Thanks, Sandy! 🙂
Lovely Autumn colours. Like Sandy in the above comment, I do like the angle of the shot.
Thank you, Vicki! 🍂
Autumn is such a special time. Lovely photo.
Thank you, Flavia!
Perfect title for this lovely shot!
Thank you, Dale!
😊
The colours are gorgeous! I believe you are slightly ahead of us in the colour game 🙂
Thank you, Maria. We’re earlier than last year and with the drought, many leaves curled up and dropped. But there are a few good ones out there to enjoy, thankfully!
I’d be happy to send some rain your way! Perhaps you’ve had it yourself by now.
Not a lot of rain lately, but 1/2″ predicted for Wed. I feel like we’ve had California weather for the last two months, clear, dry and sunny!
We do not experience changing colours such as you do, so I enjoy all pictures of your autumn colour changes 🙂
Thank you, Anne. It is a glorious season!
Ooh, that’s starting to pick up Eliza. Rainbow country 🤗❤️🙏
Thank you, Mark. We’re about mid-season… it goes fast.
Yes it does, we’re almost half way through our spring 🤗❤️🙏
Love this.
Thank you, Rupali!
a wonderful capture, Eliza…
Thank you, J&A!
You’re very welcome, Eliza…
Glorious! I did find a single red leaf yesterday, so our time may be coming! It never will look like this, though!
Thank you, Linda. Red maples are among the first to turn and they are nearly always stunning.
Eye-catching and awesome! ❤️
Thank you, Barbara!
btw, I’ve been enjoying the Hal Borland book I got, reading about October now, it’s wonderful. 🍂
So glad to hear you’re enjoying the book, Eliza. His writing takes me back to the northwest hills of CT. I went to summer camp near where he lived. 🍂
gorgeousness
Thank you, Catherine! Tis the season for great beauty.
Oh! It is, it IS!
We took a ride into VT and somehow missed the jackpot 🙂 This is so pretty Eliza.
Thank you, Eunice! Hard to time it right sometimes.
Yes so many spent thousands to travel to NH campers had no campfires and trees barely had any leaves left 😦
It might be the most impressive view…to look up!
Always! 🙂
Nature is the ultimate artist!
For sure! Hope your foliage is looking awesome. 🍁🍂
Muted because of the extreme drought.
So pretty! Regrettably, we don’t get fall displays like that in my part of the country.

Thanks, Kris. There are always trade-offs! 😉
Now, this is what I’ve been waiting for! Such splendor, Eliza. We’re several weeks behind you in the color change (at least, I hope we’re going to see some!)
Thank you, Debbie. We’ve already lost a fair amount of leaves, most likely due to ongoing drought, but there are still pockets of color to be found.
Autumn colors are a treat to the eyes. Beautiful photo.
Thank you, Rebecca. A super time of year.
Love the colors in this capture. I love fall!
Thank you, Tom!
That’s beautiful Eliza! And it looks like you are ahead of us with autumn colour this year. 🍁😃
Thank you, Cathy. My sugar maples turned crispy and fell without fanfare, but at least the red maples are putting on a show. Due to drought, a huge amount of leaves all over New England apparently have dried up and fallen with no show to speak of. A lot of disappointed leaf peepers out there!
Such beautiful autumnal color!
Thanks, Monika. Always look up! 🙂
I love autumnal blue skies. 🙂
They make a gorgeous backdrop contrasting with yellow and orange. 🧡
Beautiful colours 🍂
Thank you, Karen! 🧡
What a glorious mosaic Eliza! 🧡🍂 xxx
Thank you, Xenia… I love backlit leaves in autumn!
Beautiful!
Thank you, Maria!
Love the colors!🙂 Between our drought and warm weather our leaves are just falling off the trees with little color.
Thanks! Sounds like our sugar maples, crisped up and fell. Our best foliage now is birch and red maple. Apparently foliage season in New England is a bust due to drought, which I imagine disappoints a lot of tourists. You never know what Nature is going to serve. 😉
beautiful
Thank you, Sylvia!
Love the colors Eliza!
Thank you, Cindy!
Beautiful and appropriately titled!
Thank you, Denise. Red maples are wonders in autumn!
