Wordless Wednesday – My Happy Place
This entry was posted in Country Gardening, My Photos and tagged annual flowers, gardening, greenhouse, wordless wednesday. Bookmark the permalink.

Happy, yes. But I always have trouble deciding how and what to to choose when the selection is so boundless.
I have to go in with a list or I’ll get totally off course, and a bit dazed. 😂 The creative possibilities are endless!
That makes sense. It’s not the worst possible dilemma to be in, though. 😊🌷🌸🌻
A happy discipline. 🙂
Haha, I have no doubt a happy place Eliza. A seventh heaven so to speak 🤣❤️🙏
Yup. 🙂
I’ll take one of those, and two of those, and a selection of those other ones over there…
You got it, Linda. Hard to restrain myself and mind the budget. 😉
Kid in a candy shop, for sure! 😀
Paradise!
Absolutely. My heart soars every time I enter!
Hi Eliza. My happy place too! I look forward to seeing some of your purchases in vases or in the garden over the summer perhaps?
MJ
For sure, I get most of my annuals here, esp. for hanging baskets. Very high quality at reasonable prices. The owner started out as a teenager with a few plants on the corner and has built up a huge business over the years, next year will be 40 years. Impressive.
I know what you mean… when you enter a greenhouse like that it is like a time warp and what seems like a quick ten-minute look around has suddenly become an hour and ten minutes! LOL!
Oh, you got it, Cathy. I can barely control myself!
Wonderful
Thank you, Sheree, it truly is. 🙂
Oh my, yes. 🙂
Only a fellow plant addict would understand that race of the pulse, ha! 😉
I’m rather fond of that place, too!
🙂 Tough to limit myself… and they keep restocking, so I go back over and over, ugh, I can’t help myself! 😀
I get it. Only reason I haven’t even gotten anything for my garden is that it has been raining every bloody day for over a week! And still, we won’t see the sun until Sunday.
Similar weather here, all my warm-loving annuals are huddling on the porch, wondering what happened to their sweet, temperature-controlled living space!
It seems to be all over this false-spring-acting-like-fall!
Yes, my spouse remarked this morning that in the past week we’ve been through spring, summer and now fall! We even have the wood stove going again. Geesh!
Your spouse is not wrong! I didn’t make a fire because it’s not THAT cold but…
I like being toasty, ha!
Can’t say I blame ya!
Where is this? I have to go there!
Mill Valley Farm, open Thurs-Sunday, right off the highway
I’m very sure that is one of many! I hope you revel in your purchases!
Thank you, Alice. This cold spell has them huddled on the porch, waiting for warmer weather. 🌞
I saw the image before I noticed the title and my first thought was, “Eliza’s Happy Place!” 😊
Ha, you know me well! 🙂
I love this comment- it’s just what I thought!
Truth! 😉
😄❤️🫂
Great minds think alike. 😁
Oh my Eliza! What a selection – amazing!
Like a kid in a candy shop! Thanks, Flavia. 🙂
🤗🍃🌸🌼💛 yippee!!
😀
Yes, yes! Bur a dangerous place, too, when it comes to the pocketbook. 😉
You got that right, Laurie, it wouldn’t take long to rack up a fair amount of change. I have to go in with a list and restrain myself at every turn. However, impulse-buys do jump into my cart. 😂
I completely relate! This is my favorite time of year. 🤩
Such a joy after the long colorless winter. 🙂
I can certainly understand how this can be your happy place. You have such a lovely garden! (Suzanne)
Thank you, Suzanne. I love shopping here!
Rows and rows, choices abound!
And these are just the annuals, perennials fill 3 large tables outside. There are benches of veggie starts and fancy begonias, too. So fun to peruse.
I am not surprised 🙂
Ha, yes, I am always there on opening day!
That’s one impressive nursery! What did you bring home?
https://krispgarden.blogspot.com/
Mostly annuals… salvia, cuphea, lobelia, verbena and lantana. I did give in to a yellow Heuchera that jumped into my cart. 🙂
A bad place for a gardening addict.
Absolutely! 😀
Ah yes, A great place to browse!
Heavenly!
I can see where this would be your happy place, Eliza! So many choices, but impossible to select — and care for — all you’d like to bring home!
Love it here, and I look forward to its opening all winter. So much temptation begging for creative expression!
A bonanza of plants!
Yes! And all the other shoppers are as giddy as I am. 😉
What a place, it’s huge. And it’s not crowded with happy gardeners…
Thanks, Tom. Opening day is on a Thurs. Gives us eager-beavers a chance to grab the good stuff, hehe. 😀
I can imagine! I paid a trip to a garden centre myself today 😊
Let the creative juices flow! 🙂
Wow! Love it!
🙂
Looks like trouble!
My wallet bleeds! 😀
the salvia is on sale here..
Enjoy!
Thank you! 🙂
That’s quite a selection on offer! I love going to my local gardening centre but have to not go overboard with buying things 😀
Yes, restraint can be a challenge, but it is a good practice. 😉
Too many choices! Happiness, garden dreams, and inspiration, for sure!
Yes, it challenges me in a good way. 🙂
Looks like a great place to spend a few days. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, I can never resist!
Me too!
You know it! 🙂
This made me smile, I can just picture your excitement and happiness!🙂
Definitely, esp. on opening day. Better than Christmas!
