That’s a real beauty, Eliza!
Thank you, Sandy. It’s my current favorite. 🙂
They are gorgeous!
Thank you, Flavia!
A beautifull warm splash of colour in contrast to the cold outdoors.
Yes, it cheers one up, esp. on a cold, gray day. 🙂
Wow. Lovely.
Thank you, Cindy. I love its color so much. 🙂
Beautiful Eliza
Merci, Sheree!
What a beauty Eliza! 💛 xxx
Thank you, Xenia. I was thrilled to get a second season out of it. 🙂
Very nice Eliza, perk any cold winter day up 🤗❤️🙏
Thanks Mark, it surely does!
Oh, that color is beautiful! Is it one you’ve had a while and manage to bring back to bloom, or is it new? I once had a couple that re-bloomed for two or three years, but they eventually succumbed to a mealybug infestation, and that was that!
Thank you, Kimberley! I bought it last year and am happy it is reblooming, I love its color.
So pretty and cheerful. Kimberly asked what I was wondering…I’ll read your answer to her.
Thank you, Alice. It is in its second year. I love that color!
Sunny colors! So bright and cheerful!
Thank you, Barbara. My favorite orchid. 🙂
Beautiful. I have an Amaryllis blooming, my Walking Iris has had eight blooms so far, and my two Orchids have buds. Nice.
Thank you, Judy. These winter bloomers keep our spirits up while we dream of spring. 🙂
That certainly is a beauty!
Thank you, Laurie! It has given me such joy, particularly during this cold winter. 🙂
That brightens up my gray day!
Glad to hear that, Debra. Those clouds will be arriving here later today. Are you getting snow or rain?
They are predicting sleet and icy condition in the overnight hours, turning to rain mid-morning Thursday. Glad I don’t have to be anywhere Thursday am!
Stay safe and cosy!
I’m planning to. Nothing on the schedule for Thursday except some books, tv, and whatever else appeals inside!
Such a wonderful alternative to the white and rose orchids filling our stores just now. You must be more than pleased to have this second year’s blooms!
Yes, I just love its color and was thrilled when it budded up again, yay!
Your photograph reminds me of the local yearly orchid celebration this month. It is uplifting this time of year.
Thank you, winter is orchid time for sure. I don’t go to the orchid show every year, but we did go last year, always a nice show.
These are so pretty, soft and restful! I’m sure you enjoy having them in your home
Thank you, Tina. Yes, I put them where I can look at the often. I love this color!
So pretty, as usual
🙂 Thanks much!
A winter delight.
It truly is, a bit of the tropics in New England. 😉
I’ve felt an urge to buy myself a new (blooming) orchid recently. If I’d seen one as pretty as yours, I certainly would’ve acted on that.

This one was a grocery store find from last winter, so thrilled it is blooming again. I love the pale yellow, not a common color offered there.
What lovely orchids, Eliza! So nice to stop by here and see such an uplifting scene!
Thank you, Debbie. 🙂
This is lovely! I was visiting a plant store myself just the other day 😊.
A good place to go when the weather is this cold. Did you buy anything? Thanks, Belinda!
I was tempted but I had another errand to run and it was too cold to risk leaving it in the car 😏
Maybe next time! 😉
So pretty! I planted my first orchids this year. They seem to be doing okay so far. I think you have inspired me. 😉
Thanks, Pepper. Once you figure out their likes, they are pretty easy plants. Glad to know I had a positive impact. 🙂
An indoor beauty. It would need a fleece coat outside. 😊
It seems quite happy growing in the same room as the wood stove. I feel the same way! 😉
I do, too. 😊
Winter beauty, indeed. I need to get out to an orchid show. I tried a couple of years to grow some here, but they don’t like my shaded view or the temps of my house in winter and summer. Oh well, I’ll enjoy them on your blog, others, and at orchid shows. 🙂
Thank you, Beth. My luck with orchids is spotty. I seem to have the best luck with the miniatures. I’ve killed a quite a few!
What a lovely serene look. Love it.
Thank you, Monika!
Marvelous coloring! Glad you had them rebloom, Eliza. What good company for these winter days.
Thank you, Susie. I count myself lucky to have found it, it was love at first sight! 🙂
It’s so beautiful to see your image in mid-winter!
Thank you, Tom. My flowering houseplants help get me through the winter. This one esp. so. 🙂
Lovely delicate colour combo!
Thank you, Allison. I saw it in a shop last winter and had to have it. Happy it has bloomed again. 🙂
Ooh, enough said! 🤗❤️💕
🙂 Thanks, Isha!
Ooh, that really is lovely Eliza! As everyone else has already said – great to see some colour at this time of year. 😃
Thank you, Cathy. Houseplants really help get us through the winter!
Beautiful Eliza cannot wait to see my 3 develop new flower spikes.
Thanks, Eunice. You’ll have to post them when they bloom!
Yes for sure!
Lovely, Eliza!
Thank you, Donna!
Beautiful! ♥
Thank you, Robin. It’s my favorite. 🙂
Congrats on reblooming it! Love the color.
Thank you, Frank. I’m thrilled it is doing so well!
There’s an art to keeping one of these alive. I haven’t quite figured it out yet. Just lovely!
Thank you, Rebecca. An English orchid grower gave a tip that helped me: When the root is green = good, when it is white = water sparingly and then dump excess. Fertilize monthly and place in indirect light like an east or north window.
Good advice to know. Thanks, Eliza.
I have never in my life been able to keep them alive.
Same here until I learned what they preferred (see my previous comment to another blogger). 🙂
Just what I needed, a perfect sight on a winter’s morning 😊! Beautiful, Eliza.
Thank you!
Lovely! Makes me think of the wild orchid season that is preparing itself right now, even under the squelchy February mud.
Thank you, Adele!
