Wordless Wednesday – Morning Walk

Looks a bit chilly. But so beautiful!
Thank you, Sandy. I bundle myself up well, so the cold generally doesn’t bother me. There is a limit however!
That’s for sure. Especially when it is very windy!
This looks peacefully beautiful.
Thank you, Anne. I always feel renewed after walking our trails. Such a blessing!
Hi Eliza . Oh that looks cold! Hats and woolly mittens. We are wet here and hovering around freezing for a while at night. Not my favourite time of year.
MJ
Cold and damp is not a lot of fun, for sure. I much prefer dry and crisp, as it was this lovely morning. The light was wonderful.
Crisp morning
Yes, it is refreshing this time of year. 🙂
What a beautiful way to start the day Eliza! 💖 xxx
I feel quite blessed living here. Thanks, Xenia! 💕
A very lovely, peaceful scene. ♡ ❄️
Thank you, Barbara. Winter stillness is a lovely thing. 🙂
Great composition!
Thank you, Maria!
Yikes! It’s beautiful, but I’m still adjusting to the 40s. On the other hand, I could be tempted onto a trail that lovely; I think I have gloves somewhere.
🙂 Thanks, Linda. Yes, one needs the works in terms of warm clothing and boots with felt liners. I’m a big fan of wool and down, synthetics don’t do the job.
Lovely image, the sort of place where I want to go on a walk. No snow here, but a lot of rain today.
Thank you, Tom. We are blessed to live in this lovely area. Raining hard here, too, but I think it won’t melt all the snow we have, except in patches.
Brrrrr…..but still beautiful!
Thanks, Donna. Nice and brisk! 😀
❄️💙⛄️
🙂 Thanks, Val!
A beautiful, special area, any time of year.
Thank you, Alice. We walk our trail daily, and really love it!
A beautiful, albeit cold looking scene.
My favorite comfort range is 20-45º this time of year. I actually like the brisk air. 😉 Below 17º (or add in the windchill) is my limit!
Below 20 is a threshold too low for me and the dogs. 30’s are better on Elsa’s and my joints. 😉
Love those snow photos.
Thank you… do you miss it at all?
Yes, I actually do. I loved winter when I lived up north. It was hard to adapt to the lack of seasons here. After about 20 years, I finally got used to it and now 50 degrees is cold…freezing cold.
I guess you’ve adapted to your ‘new’ climate! 😀
I’m sure this would be a lovely walk, providing you’re bundled up against the chill!
My mother taught me well, hehe, good boots, coat, hat, scarf and mittens! 😉
Beautiful photo! So far the snow has kept your way. We only got a few speckles.
Thank you, Hien. It is raining hard currently, but I don’t think we will lose all our snow cover, however, patches of bare ground are emerging.
That is beautiful! We have had non-stop rain since yesterday and I fear all my pretty snow is awash!
Thanks, Dale! Yes, same here, we are getting deluged. Good for the trees though. 😉
Right. The trees. OK. I want my snow back!
More snow coming surely! ❄️
I’m glad to see that it looks like you have a clear (not slippery) path to follow. I can only imagine what the temperature was.

It was a bit brisk that day, but it helps set a quick pace. 😉
I love the mother of pearl sky behind the trees. It feels optimistic.
Thank you, Allison, what a lovely way to describe it!
Beautiful. Aren’t we lucky to live here?
Thank you, Julie. We truly are most fortunate. 🙂
Oh, that’s beautiful! If only it wasn’t so cold, although the snow provides insulation. Unfortunately, we will be in single digits F overnight for a couple of nights and below 0F for windchills–with next to no snow cover for the plants. Poor babies…

Thank you, Beth. Oh, dear, still no snow? Your poor plants! I hope they tough it out. 🤞🏼
Snow…..such a beautiful sight and no doubt very good for the camera lens too.
Looks like a lovely walk (as long as you have the right clothing).
Thank you, Vicki. The crystalline beauty is worth bundling up for, not to be missed!
Cool beauty! I like the outline of the trees against the blue sky.
Thank you, Belinda. I love our trails, no matter the season. 🙂
What a pretty winter scene.
Thank you, Steve.
Beautiful! I still love snow even as I get older. The rain from yesterday turned to snow at the end and stuck to everything. A beautifully flocked landscape and then the sun made it all sparkle! -and the roads weren’t too bad so it was a wonderful drive into work.
Thank you, Frank.
How lovely that sounds. I do love the look of snow, esp. after a storm when it lines the trees, but never to drive in!
A very beautiful morning walk Eliza 🙂
Thank you, Maria. I love our trails. 🙂
It looks so pretty with the fresh snow and the gentle light. Cold, but not cold enough for the river to freeze over, so it’s probably still bearable to be outside in a warm coat and hat.
Thanks, Tanja. It is rare that it is too cold to walk here, thank goodness! I’m more often deterred by pouring rain . 🙂
Ditto. Walking through falling snow is magical; through rain, less so. 🙂
There’s nothing like snow to put one in the holiday mood. Pretty scene Eliza!
Thanks, Denise. Looks like we are actually going to have a white Christmas this year. It’s been a few since we had one.
