Oh the colors. Delightful Eliza, thank you 🤗❤️🙏
My pleasure, Mark. 🙂 🍁 🍂
Amazing Eliza!
Thank you, Cindy! 🍁 🍂
Wetly beautiful!
Thanks, Anne. I love the pit-pat sound of rain in the forest. Hope you get to hear some soon. 🙂
Hi Eliza. What a lovely way to describe it. I’ve just started a drawing nature course and I am tempted now to find my own confetti to draw as one of my assignments. Will let you know!
MJ
Nature provides lots of inspiration!
I picked up six lawn bags of that forest confetti yesterday morning from one bed as I was cutting back some catmint that is next to the driveway and gets buried under the snow. 🙂 Beautiful weather we are having right now.
One of the greatest autumns we’ve had in a long time. Six bags, wow, just from one bed! Do you compost those leaves?
Not as in put them in a composter. We have so many we put them on the edge of the woods and when we need some we go get them. 🙂
Yes, that is the country way of making compost, lol! “Over the bank” was the first composting system! 😉
Pretty colors!
Thank you, Barbara!
It’s as though Nature’s celebrating the turning of the seasons.
Autumn’s party colors.
Indeed, she’s going all out this year!
Ooof, those autumnal colors–just gorgeous!
Thank you, Tina. With all that at my feet, I have remember to look up as well! 🍁
Fabulous confetti Eliza! 🧡🍁 xxx
Thank you, Xenia! 🙂

Yes! 🙂 🍁🍂
I love this photo so much:)
Thank you, Robin, glad you do!
Whoa…the colors! Incredible. It’s been so dry here, most of the trees in the city are just a faded shade of yellow or brown.
Thank you, Monika. The foliage has been wonderful this year, hurrah!
That’s so funny. I just shared on my FB photo group a picture of wet leaves very similar. We have a great eye and good taste for images 😉
Beauty!
Yes! “(S)he who sees beauty never grows old.” 🙂
Agree wholeheartedly 🙂
Those colors are stunning! They look sort of wet though — did you have rain, frost, or morning dew?
Rain, and we need more! Thanks, Debbie. 🙂
Love the photo, I spend as much time looking at the ground as the trees in fall. Wonderful title!🙂
Thank you, S!
Divine 🌸🩷
🙂 Thank you, Karen! x
Very aptly named Eliza
Thank you, Karina!
Oh my. Please post to Spoonflower. I would love to order fabric to make a dress. Gorgeous. Your photo will live on
Thank you very much, Alys! Nature truly is the best designer. 🙂
Agreed.
Happy Silent Sunday! Beautiful foliage!

Thank you, Beth!
Oh, how pretty Eliza! Those colours are simply gorgeous!
Thank you, Cathy. Autumn is such a parade of colour!
Do you raise Lavender? How do you trim it for the next season?
It is generally recommended to prune it back 1/2 to 2/3 right after it blooms, being careful not to cut into woody stems. Having missed the August pruning, I’d lightly prune it now and then prune any dead growth in early spring, resuming pruning after bloom. By doing so, you’ll likely get two bloom periods. Good luck!
So colorful, and lovely when damp.
Thank you, Tom!
Perfect title for this beautiful photo 😊
Thank you, Belinda!
Can’t help but smile at the beautiful confetti!
🙂 Thanks, Donna!
Oh, lovely! And the smell of fallen leaves can’t be beat.
Thanks, Laurie, Sugar Maple is my favorite! 😍
Outstanding. I would love a skirt made from this design!
🙂 Thanks, it would make lovely fabric.
Autumnal splendor at its best!
Thank you!
A colorful reminder to watch not only the trees in autumn, but also the ground. 😊
Yes, we must do both, and beyond!
A good title for this colorful autumn display!
Thank you, Denise, Nature’s farewell party. 🙂
