Sweet.
🙂 Thank you, Cindy!
I am always happy to see what grows in your garden 🙂
Thank you, Anne. I really post more of it, but I am such a perfectionist, ha!
Such beautiful blooms Eliza! 💗
Many thanks, Xenia!
This is an amazing combination, Eliza… they go so well together!
Thank you, J&A!
💖💖
The lamb’s ears and coneflower colors are especially nice together. So subtle!
Thank you, Linda. That combo does please me as well.
lovely.. soft pastels
Thank you, Dymoon!
And they are all still very lovely!
Thank you, Dale. It’s nice to have something in bloom in my garden all season long.
Yes!
Eliza: you have created such beautiful areas on your acres!
Aw, thanks, Alice. 🙂
Lovely! Do your Lamb’s Ears ever flower?
Thanks, Cathy. Yes, they bloom in June and I leave them for the bees, cutting them back before they go to seed. I do have a couple patches out front that are the non-flowering cultivar, which is great, too, but not for bees. 🙂
Mine only sometimes produce a flower stalk or two, so maybe I need a different cultivar. Thanks Eliza.
Many gardeners don’t like the flower stalk and cut them, but when I see all those bees, I couldn’t bear to do that.
Love the shade of purple of the verbena!
Thank you, Barbara… the bees agree with you!
Such a pretty gallery! Loving all the purple.
Thank you, Monika. The bees agree!
A lovely display.
Thank you, Andrea. 💚
Beautiful! I can only wish I had a late summer display as lovely as that.

You’re too kind, thanks much! A lot has gone by, of course, but I try to have something in bloom at least until frost. 🌼
Still looking good, Eliza.
Thinning out, but still something to see. 🙂 Thanks, Sandy!
Sure!
What gorgeous color combinations, Eliza! You have a stunning garden. I’m particularly fond of those Lamb’s Ears.
Thank you very much, Debbie!
Sublime 💝🌸💖
Thank you, Susan. x
What a treat to see these three photos of your beautiful garden, Eliza. The color and texture combinations are dreamy.
Thank you very much, Jet! x
So beautiful. I love the combination of the Lamb’s Ear and the flowers. 🙂

Thank you, Beth!
Love that shot of color! Verbena b is such a workhorse
Thanks, Frank. Although sadly, there were no monarchs hatching in our yard this year, daily we’re getting migrating ones from VT passing through and they mostly visit the verbena… grown esp. with them in mind.
I hope to see them make their way here soon, there’s verbena galore and I also leave it just for them!
👍🏼 💛
Your garden still looks beautiful and your flowers agree with you that we’re not ready to rush into fall.😁
Thank you, S! A couple summery days ahead, which will certainly be relished!
very purpley
Very! 😉
Mother Nature’s Minion, Eliza Waters 😘
🙂 Glad to be in service to Her!
🌹
I love the grey contrast!!
Thank you, Amy. I really love the purple coneflower draped over the gray, fuzzy leaves, really stands out from afar.
Absolutely lovely! Never could get my lamb’s ear to look like that.
Thank you, Laurie. Lamb’s ears need part to full sun, something I guess you don’t have a lot of, alas. 🙂
You got that right! Not enough sun for them.
A lovely shot, Eliza.
I don’t think I’ve seen Lamb’s Ears for years, if not since I was a child. My Mother grew them all along the garden bed edges at our first house. Perhaps modern residential gardeners grow more indigenous plants?
I just did a quick Google search and found they’re very hardy, so perhaps my Mother grew them in her enormous garden as they require little attention.
Tough as nails and vigorous! 🙂 Thanks, Vicki.
Great photo!
Thank you!
Some of my favorites. Your garden looks lovely 💐
Thank you, Val! x
Your garden is still looking beautiful, Eliza!
Thank you, Belinda!
I really love the way the lambs ear looks! I think I’m going to have to add it into my garden next year. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you, Madison. I love it with the coneflower.
It’s so nice to see that your flowering season will go on for a while.
Thank you, Tanja. I’m hoping for at least a month more, but frost will come when it will. 😉
I hope for the same!
I do as well! I have some coneflower in mine so I’m thinking to fill in the empty space near it with lambs ear! It is so beautiful!
Wonderful!
Love Lamb’s Ears…such a nice complement in texture and color. 🙂
Thank you, Jane. They have been exuberant this summer!
