Hi Eliza. Very content. And I know you’ll be pleased to hear that Spot turned up last night, after we’ve been back for two and a half weeks! Delighted to see her but she was back sitting in the doorstep at the farm this morning so I am not sure if we’ll see too much of her. She’s looking fat and happy so that’s what matters.

Alas, my many Manx have long since crossed over the rainbow bridge. This is Annie, a domestic shorthair with a long tail (!) who we adopted 5 years ago and is now 10. She’s a sweetie and though playful as a kitten, quite well-behaved. 😻
My parents loved Manx cats and had one that looked a lot like Annie. Josephine the Manx.
No matter how much mischief they might get up to when they’re awake they always look so very innocent when they sleep. 😀
Especially true of human children! Pets are infinitely easier, however!
Much shorter attention span too. 😀
