Thanks, Steve. The depth of Tahoe accounts for the deep blue and keeps it cold… it was a brisk 63º when I swam yesterday. 🙂
Lake Tahoe is always beautiful, but does it have more water this year after all the rain and snow fell earlier this year?
Yes, it was quite full. I heard that they had to release extra water so that people could access the beaches. There are still pockets of snow in the highest mountains, which won’t melt at all before the snow starts again.
