    You read my mind; my Silent Sunday post features clouds above trees. I imagine it’s good to see some blue sky after all the rain? (I would love some rain here, but it’s not likely.)

    Selfishly I have welcomed the rain- I like sunshine but not extreme heat. I worry about my garden when I’m away and although the wind and rain did slightly spoil our short break away in Suffolk- I was quietly thinking ” the garden will be saved” does that make me seem weird- ha ha 🙂 We need a balance so the clouds are welcomed.

      A balance is always best, but it seems rare these days… much more rain than usual, floods, churning rivers, and to think last year we had drought. Biblical!

    A welcome sight. The sun and blue sky are always there…the stars, too….it’s just the too many clouds we need to contend with. A balance.

    Very appropriate photo! Maybe the rains moved South toward us. We have had two rainy days in a row after a long drought.

    What lovely clouds. What I wouldn’t give for some clouds these days-it’s bright blue skies with high temps (I know…hard to complain about that) but sun at a mile high elevation has its own problems-so intense. And soooo hot. 🥵

    At least you can see the blue. Here, we’re under severe weather advisories for poor air quality, thanks — once again — to the Canadian wildfires. The sun was a brilliant red-orange this morning.

    I love blue skies dotted with puffy clouds, especially if they brought rain but maybe you’ve had more than you bargained for?

    Posted on my daughter’s birthday St Swithin’s day and it rained so UK might get 40 days of rain now. Not sure if applies anywhere else but part cloudy seems best of both worlds in a hot summer. Good to see your posts again.
