Wow, what a cool shot! Including your reflection in the bubble. ๐
Thank you, Ellen. The bubbles were so big that day and lasted longer than usual. The selfie was a fun surprise.
How unusual and creative!
Thank you, Maria. A happy accident! ๐
Fantastic!
Thank you, Sandy!
You bet.
How cool is that? ๐
A fun surprise found in processing! ๐
Those are the best, don’t you think?
Yes! ๐

A ‘double-selfie!’
Yes, ha!
An amazing, beautiful photo, Eliza! โค๏ธ

Thank you, Alys! ๐
Very cool selfie! ๐
Thank you, Barbara!
What a great, original idea!
A happy accident ๐ Thanks, Hien!
The different levels of image clarity in the bubbles is interesting. I can’t explain it, so I’ll just appreciate it.
๐ Thanks, Linda. This one lingered for the longest time before it popped. Only in processing did I see my reflection.
Looks like a little ladybug with you on the back instead of black spots!
Ha, love it! ๐
It took me a minute to figure it out. Great shot.
Thank you!
Nice! Great innovative image! Enjoyed seeing it!
Thank you, Reed… a happy coincidence!
Very clever! A happy coincidence? Or hours if prep?
MJ
Thank you, MJ! I happened upon this bubble that remained on the surface and didn’t pop. I captured it and in processing, saw the selfie. .:)
You are very creative indeed: at first glance I thought I was looking at a large beetle! Well captured, Eliza!
Thank you, Anne. It does look beetle-like. ๐ It was an unusually large bubble at the base of our waterfall.
Good one, Eliza!
๐ Thanks, Debbie!
This is great, Eliza! I love bubbles like that–took one years ago. Your post reminds me to look more closely for them–when the snow melts, of course.
Thank you, Kathy. It was a fun surprise!
Fun!
Thank you, Laurie!
Awesome selfie Eliza! ๐
Thank you, Xenia! ๐
That bubble looks almost like a Christmas ornament. Love the shot.
Thank you, Lisa!
Haha! What fun!
๐ Thank you, Cathy!

Thanks, Belinda!
What a fabulous bubble and selfie!!๐
๐ Thanks, S.
That’s pretty cute!
๐ Thanks, Kris!
That’s a very nice capture, nice motion with the water and bubble and that little twig bisecting it all is a lovely touch. I was just going to ask if you knew you’d caught yourself, or discovered it once you looked at the photo–you answered. I once took a similar photo of a reflective ball in my garden. Once I downloaded–there I was!
Thank you, Tina. Yes, we often are so focused on the shot that we don’t see the details until later. ๐
Portals to other worlds. Who knows what that version of your Self in the bubble is getting up to now. ๐
๐ I hope she’s having a grand ol’ time!
๐
Well, thatโs the photo of the year!
๐ Thanks, Gary!
What a great photo, Eliza!

Excellent seeing!
Thank you, C.S. ๐
As soon as I saw the picture, and before I read your title, the words “bubble selfie” popped into my head.

Yet not all bubbles reflect alike. You found yourself a good one.
So cool, Eliza, well done!! ๐ค๐๐ค
๐ Thank you, Donna!
