What a beautiful photo! Love the colors.
Thank you! I used to take aerial views for granted, I don’t anymore. ❤
Beautiful!!
Thank you, Trini!
Where were you? In a plane, or top of a mountain?
Airplane, coming into Tampa, FL
From on high and ethereal? Absolutely lovely.
Yes, it certainly was. Thank you, Laurie. 🙂
Stunningly gorgeous…trying to figure that out…till I read ‘aerial view.’ ✈️ Beach time for you? 🏖
I wish! No, taken many years ago. It’ll be a while yet before I’m ready to fly again. Thanks, Alice!
Cool color and lighting. Hopefully you’ll see this again soon!
Thank you, Frank. I haven’t flown in two years, I like to escape in winter, but oh, well… 😉
Peaceful and soothing.
Thank you, Maggie!
Great sky & cloud image Eliza!
Thank you, Reed!
Heavenly view, Eliza! Literally and figuratively! 😍
Yes! 🙂 Thanks, Julie!
So pretty. It’s so cool that you were in between the cloud levels.
Thank you, Vicki. The shadow play was so interesting to see.
When will we see views like this again? My last time was on our trip to the Philippines in December 2019, shortly before the pandemic hit.
I’ve thought the same… I’m sure the day will come again, but for now, we’re staying on home ground!
Wonderful shot ! It makes me dream away…
Thank you, it is pretty dreamy. 🙂
This shot is really inspiring! For me, there is a lot of symbolism–above the clouds, over the earth, a new era, soaring through an astral plane–it takes me out of my ordinary Sunday and reminds me we are in an equinox! Thank you!
Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed it. Not too often we get a view like this!
An aerial shot — how splendid! Love the clouds and colors you discovered!
Thank you, Debbie!
WOW!
Thank you very much, Sandy! 🙂
Sure!
Beautiful!
Thank you, Sandra! 🙂
Beautiful!🙂
Thank you, Susan!
So serene! It reminds me of a few of the paintings by one of my favorite artists – Jill Van Sickle.
Thanks much… I just looked her up – beautiful paintings!
What an unusual and beautiful sky.
Thank you, Vicki. Sunset from 20,000 feet! 🙂
Expansive skies of beauty ☀️🌈
Thank you, Karen! ❤
Happy equinox Eliza, Lovely images with beautiful shades
Thank you, Karina!
I was just thinking about you, Eliza, puzzled as to why I haven’t seen your posts in my reader. Just popped on the reader and saw this post. We must be missing one another. Happy Equinox!!! And beautiful intoxicating image!! xo
Thank you, Amy, good to hear from you. Aren’t we thrilled to have winter behind us? although this one wasn’t too tough… only one big storm. Now it is all about birdsong and gardening – yay!
I know!!! YAY!
I was going to ask if you’d gone mountain climbing but your prior exchanges with commentators filled me in. Happy Spring, Eliza! I hope you get some steady warm up.
Thank you, Kris. We hit the mid-60s today, we were in heaven! Lots of snow and ice melted, woo-hoo!
What a great photo for the equinox! Happy Spring.
Thank you, Allison! The shot being half-light, half-dark seemed to fit the bill. 🙂
Wonderful photo, Eliza!
Thank you, Belinda! 🙂
Wow! That is one of the best shots from an airplane that I’ve seen. Hope you get to up again soon.
Thank you, Irene! Coming from you, who flies A LOT, I take that as a wonderful compliment. 🙂 x
My pleasure, Eliza. It is a shot worth framing.
❤
Silence above the clouds – beautiful. ❤
Thank you, Joanne!
Lovely in flight shot, Eliza! I’ve only flown once and was rewarded with such a view as we came up the eastern seaboard. Happy Spring!
Thank you, Steve!
Mesmerizing image. Fits your title perfectly.
Thank you, Susie. 🙂
Wow, Eliza, the glow in the clouds is amazing, a peek into the heavens! 🧡💛🧡
Thank you, Donna. A window on the world. 🙂
Fabulous!

It is a very beautiful image and has a balance most appropriate for the equinox.
Thank you, Carol, it struck me that way as well. 🙂
A gorgeous cloudscape! I like how the top and bottom portions are so different.
Thank you, Denise! I’m glad I had my camera in my carry-on. One never knows what one will see out the window way up on high. 🙂
What a beautiful shot Eliza. I wonder if we will ever fly again…
Thank you, Cathy. I thought the same. Time will tell. _/\_
Serene!
