Cathy at Words and Herbs has presented a challenge to cheer us all up:
“From Sunday the 22nd through to Saturday the 28th let’s share a photo a day (or more than one if you like) of our flowers and gardens and brighten up this dreary time.”

Lovely vibrant flowers!
Thank you, Trini… a bit of summer to keep us smiling. 😉
A wonderful cheering picture of flowers on this dull, overcast day!
Thank you, Anne!
I love them
Glad you do, thanks much!
Wonderful! Our garden is covered in thick frost this morning and all this colour seems like a dream! 😃
Thank you, Cathy. We are frosty (27F) this morning, too, all browns and grays. I think your idea of posting summer flowers is a good one, definitely cheering!
As Cathy says – frost here too! Your vase is so vibrant!
Thank you, Cathy!
Such a lovely collection, guaranteed to make you smile…
Thank you, Anita! ❤
Wonderful bunches
Thank you, Dorris!
Well that is such a surprise of lovely colors! It’s 43° here, but soooooo many leaves on the ground.
A little summer throwback on this frosty morning… your temps are much warmer than ours. Maybe a wind will sweep them into the woods for you!
Lovely! I spent part of yesterday pulling all of the annuals that finally died in the hard freeze we recently had. Always a little sad, but the seasons turn so quickly that it will feel like no time at all before I’m out there planting again.
Thank you, Wendy! I feel the same, the older I get, the faster time passes. You’re right, we’ll be planting up again in no time. 😉
🙂
This is a good one—so vivid! I like it set against the green green grass. Good to see on a gloomy November day.
Thank you, Ellen. I think Cathy had a great idea – summer memories to dispel the gloom!
A perfect arrangement. Those colors really pop!
Thank you, Susie. I’m enjoying this meme, just what we need. 🙂
Lovely project. Looking forward to seeing your flowers even though I am one of those weirdos who finds beauty in the austerity of late fall.
Thanks, Laurie. I find the golds and rusts of autumn beautiful, too. But my heart is owned by summer! 🙂
Understood. 😉
What a great idea! I don’t know anybody who’s not cheered up by seeing gorgeous flowers, and this bunch certainly is!
Thank you, Debbie! Glad to share the cheer. 🙂
A rainbow of colors in a bouquet! Beautiful Eliza!
Thank you, Donna!
This really does boost spirits, Eliza. Thanks!
Thank you, Sandy!

Wonderful idea and you definitely brightened the day with the beautiful colors and flowers!
Thank you, S. It’s a meme I think everyone can enjoy!
More than brightened up! 😉
Glad to know that 🙂
Pretty one, Eliza. I don’t remember seeing this one..love the use of goldenrod and blue salvia.
Thank you, Amy. An oldie from the files. 🙂
Oldie but goodie!
Yes, indeed 🙂
With our autumn color gone it is lovely to see some from summer. Beautiful arrangement as always, Eliza!
Thank you, Steve!
Flowers are beautiful but your eye to make them even more so is awesome!
Aw, thanks so much, Dawn! x
You’re welcome, Eliza.
Such a beautiful bouquet!
Thank you, glad you liked it. 🙂
Wow! That really did brighten up my evening. Such beautiful colors! 🙂
Thank you, Robin, we need all the cheer we can get! 🙂
I love your moody header and colourful bouquet!
Thank you! ❤
My pleasure!
Wonderful, it certainly works for me 😊
🙂 An antidote to snow and rain!
Isn’t that a great idea? I will see if I can do the same.
Your lovely floral display certainly brings a smile to my face. 😀
Glad to know that – thanks, Joanne! I can’t wait to see what you post. 🙂
I love seeing your summer flowers again, even if I can’t actually say it’s dreary here.
🙂 Thanks, Kris. It is rarely dreary in SoCal, lucky you!
Such beautiful shots of beautiful arrangements. Is it spring yet? 😉
Thank you, Cindy. We’ll keep posting until it is! 😀
How creative to display this summery arrangement in a patch of rich, green grass. Wonderful, Eliza.
Thank you, Jet!
Gorgeous!
Thank you!
