Nothing like the beauty of new growth!
It is such an exciting time of year!
Agreed.
This is an interesting perspective, Eliza.
Thank you, Anne.
Happy Sunday, ElizaβοΈ
Thank you, Nathi!
MAGIC, GREAT POST ELIZA, CHINA
Thank you, China, and for reblogging!
Reblogged this on LIVING THE DREAM.
Very beautiful Eliza!
Thank you, Maria!
Gorgeous and could double up as Macro Monday
Thanks, I did think of that, but Irene probably already had the summary post ready to print on Sunday. I’m a day late and a day early!
π
I love the intense new colour of new growth, shame it gradually changes though…
Same here, but with peonies at least that red comes back in the fall foliage. A second show. π
Lovely colour
Thank you, Karina!
Ah, the beauty of spring. π
IKR? Everywhere I look is magical!
π
Is it part of a peony bush?
Yes, it is. I can’t wait for the blooms! π
Waiting on mine.
It’s an annual event around here!
Very nice Eliza!
Thank you, Reed!
What color are these? Oh, the wonderful anticipation of lovely Peonies π₯° A friend wrote me, yesterday, that in Baltimore their Peonies are already blooming.
That bed has pink and white in it. Another few weeks and this will be heavenly!
Lovely close-up! Mine have been blasting out of the ground. I swear they grew six inches overnight. Big buds. Probably blooming by the weekend!
Thank you, Ellen! Peony season is much anticipated everywhere. Raptures ahead! π
Beautiful shot. Looks like the peonies are coming right along there, Eliza! Mine are too! π
Thank you, Julie. I so look forward to peony season. Happy Sunday to you!
Great bloom to look forward to!
With great anticipation. π
Nice to see the peonies back again. We have both herbaceous and tree. Wish there were some that are everblooming but the foliage is attractive on its own. π
Yes, indeed. I adore peonies!
I recognize that foliage! My Itoh peony produces foliage, just not flowers ;( Have a great Sunday, Eliza.
Thank you, Kris!
I. The simplest ways, we are blessedππ
Abundantly so! β€
LOLLOL I thought it was a Bromeliad flower!!
Wrong planting zone – ha! π
Lovely!π Not many plants survive in my gardens between the animals and my gardening skills, but the peonies keep returning.π
Thank you! These next few weeks will see three of my favoritesβ peonies, lily of the valley and lilacs. Scented heaven. π
π
Beautiful red tips of spring!
Thank you, Laurie. All the world is unfolding, yay!
What an utter delight!
I agree with Sandyπ. Lovely photo.
Thank you very much, Belinda!
Oh, the delights of new foliage.
Yes, indeed. A lovely and exciting time of year.
They make some of the nicest spring foliage!
Yes, thank you, Cathy. I love that deep red color – fall color is nice, too. I simply love peonies!
Nice perspective Eliza!
Gracias!
