Love those bare trees and the feeling of winter coming.
Thank you, Cath. Yes, pretty chilly this morning! Thanks for your visit, hope all is well with you.
What a beautiful sky! It looks cold! Is it cold?
Thank you, Maria. Yes, a cold front was coming through. This morning it was 13 and the windchill is well below zero. More like January than November!
13 is pretty cold. Stay warm ๐ฅ
Thanks!
This is very beautiful.
Thank you, Anne. This is the view from my easy chair…pretty nice!
Divine ๐
Thank you, Karen! โค
Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you!

Thank you for reblogging!
Very striking indeed. Looks like one of my kind of skies.
Thank you, Vicki. ๐
Was that last night (Tuesday)? The sky was wonderful for a little while but I wasn’t able to get out then. Nice, Eliza. So bright and colorful.
Thank you, Steve. Yes, last night as the cold front moved through, the sky lit up like a lantern, so pretty!

Gorgeous!! ๐๐๐
Thank you, Trini! ๐
Perfect for a Wordless Wednesday post. ๐
Thank you, Irene!
So beautiful. We had a cloud stretched out across the sky like that yesterday evening.
Thank you, Robin. I thought of you when I took the photo, thinking it isn’t the vista you get at the Point, but pretty nice for our wooded hills. ๐
What a sky! Despite the shorter days, a beautiful time of year.
Yes it is, the light being lower makes great photos… thanks much!
A small consolation to the shorter days?
A small one, esp. on days as cold as this one! ๐
no words needed, lovely!!!!
Thank you! ๐
Fabulous!
Thank you, Val!
Beautiful image Eliza! Love the colorful sky against the dark trees!
Thank you, Reed!
Colorful morning beautifully captured.. Lovely๐๐๐
Thank you!
Lovely
Thank you, Derrick.
Great picture Eliza! There have been some wonderful skies recently.
Thank you, Allison! I love it when the sun lights up the bottom of clouds.
Beautiful! Interesting pattern or band of yellow/orange.
Thank you! It was cloudy and stormy all day, then at sunset the cold front rolled through, giving us a lovely sunset.
The light shows just how beautiful bare trees can be.
Yes, tree silhouettes are a nice part of dormancy, in sunlight or moonlight with shadows playing on the snow. It really isn’t all bad in snow country. ๐
Very nice.
Thank you, David.
Yikes, that’s cold, Eliza & not far from here! I think it got down to 19ยฐ, but as I wrote my sister, in Holland: that’s 61ยฐ upside down…all a matter of perspective & positive thinking ๐น We got a ‘heavy’ dusting of snow. Lovely photo, all one needs to do is look up.
Indeed, thanks, Alice!
Such beautiful light! Winter sky.
Thank you, Belinda. This will be my sunset view for the next 5 months!
Nice ๐.
Thank you, Belinda!
That’s a lovely view you have there Eliza. Love the colours in the sky and the tree silhouette.
Thank you, Karen. As the weather turns colder, I’ll be looking out there from my cosy place by the fire. ๐
Thanks for sharing the beautiful sunset!๐ When I looked out the window last evening I thought I should grab my camera and go out and capture the great sky in the distance, but Harper said no way are we going out in the cold and snow again!๐พ๐
Thank you! I must admit that I took this from inside the house. ๐ Harper and I agree, it was too cold to go out!
Lovely view!๐
It sustains me all winter when I can’t be outside for long.
Beautiful view..Thanks for sharing the photography…

How very beautiful!
Thank you, Sue!
Glorious! The skies seem to be especially beautiful this time of year!
Thanks, Joanna! I agree, it must be the low angle of the sun.
The growing amount of bare trees in this season bring out the most beautiful silhouettes, as well as sunsets, and this photo is one of them. Gorgeous photo, Eliza.
Thank you, Jet. I’m adjusting to the new look to the woods, so different than the deep shady greens of summer.
Fabulous sky
Thank you, Liz!
Beautiful! ๐
Thank you, Julie. I couldn’t let that one slip by without taking a photo. ๐
Hi Eliza, beautiful photo this. I’m a novice when it comes to blogging and was wondering where can I leave a message that I have a WW post “so that people flock to it”. Hope to hear! Thx.
Thanks, TiongHan. Not sure if I can help with increasing traffic, but use of # and tagging ‘Wordless Wednesday’ in your tagline will bring searches there. I generally tag ‘Photography’ as well as subject ‘autumn leaves’ etc. Post your photo and go search for others to like. They will likely come to your site to check it out. ‘Likes’ and ‘Follows’ will build the same on your site. As the saying goes, “To have friends, be one.” ๐
Thank you!
You’re welcome!
How peaceful Eliza!
Glad you like it, Maria. ๐
