Our new, little rapscallion, Bunny. She’s a Manx, born without a tail. Loves being with people, and our other cat and dog (although for them, I don’t think the feeling is reciprocated). She is certainly livening up things around here!

Never seen a Manx cat myself, just heard of them.
They are sweetly social, and will follow you around, always wanting to be in your company. I love that!
Kittens are totally beguiling. I am sure that Bunny won your heart in seconds. I hope that in time your other cat and dog will feel the same way 🙂
She is definitely working her way into my heart! I hope the other two will tolerate the newcomer soon. It doesn’t help that she plays ‘rough.’ 😉
Perhaps the older two will be able to teach her some respect. I am always amazed how roughly kitten siblings play together when they are small, but then they get as good as they give!
It’s true! I hope they can succeed in disciplining her and that she will outgrow her need to bite everything, including our flesh!

Thank you, Lisa. I haven’t had a kitten in ages, most of my adoptees have been adult. The thing with a puppy or kitten is you’re not sure what you’ll get as an adult. I’m hoping Bunny will be a sweet cat and not TOO big! 😉
I don’t know how big Manx cats get, and of course she’s likely mixed with something else, but she’s got some paws on her! Enjoy. they are funny and troublesome at that age.
Generally, my Manx in the past have been average to smallish. Bunny has lots of spunk and I fear for my potted plants! They’re probably going to be trashed by her! However, I did know what I was getting myself in for. 😉

Thank you, Kris. It is hard for older cats to adjust to a young whippersnapper messing with their sedate routine. My old girl is NOT happy about Bunny. ‘Nanny’ cats are rare, where they adopt any newcomers, probably because few cats these days have actually had litters.

She’ll get there – I haven’t suffered any Schooner scratches in many hours (though yesterday he did nearly cause me to fall down the stairs while he played with my long skirt).
