Silent Sunday

I’m sure I’ve spotted elves in the last few pictures you’ve posted. … love that (late afternoon, I’m presuming) sunlight on the water.
You presumed right, afternoon light is the best time to catch the elves’ shadows as they dart from tree to tree! 😉
I love how the little river makes a silvery S-curve leading me into the distance. I love the gray-green in the mid-ground and the white sun in the corner. I think this is another of your very fine landscapes Eliza!
Thank you so much, Micheal, greatly appreciated! It is a favorite turn in the trail for all the reasons you mentioned.
Just beautiful! ❤️
Thank you, Karen. 🙂
Beautiful. A portrait of silence. 🙂
Yes, such balm for the soul. Thanks, Archita!
What a calming and peaceful image Eliza, I would love to walk here.
You’d be welcome anytime, Julie!

sublime photograph, Eliza…
Thank you so much, greatly appreciated!
Lovely:)
Thank you kindly!
Moody and mysterious. Wonderful image.
Thank you very much, Victor, much appreciated!
Nice quiet and serene. Have a blessed Sunday
Thank you and the same to you.
Lovely scene!
Thank you, Belinda!
Is this your stream? I don’t recognize it, but it is BEAUTIFUL!
Thank you. It’s across the road on the neighbor’s land. One of our favorite ‘long’ walks we can only do during fall and winter due to P.I. at the access points.
Oh, I can just feel the moisture on my skin, and smell the pines and wet leaves and hear the beautiful water music. Lovely, Eliza.
Happy Sunday,
Mary
Thank you, Mary, it’s just as you described. 🙂 Happy Sunday to you as well.
What a beautiful tranquil scene.
Thank you, Dor, that it is.
Silent indeed.
A lovely spot for that.
We all need a few of those spots.
And preferably very close to home. 😉
Yes as close as possible.
There is something so magical about this image. I want to step right into the scene. Beautiful, Eliza. 🙂
Thank you so much, Robin. Come visit and I’ll take you there. 🙂
I may take you up on that. 😀
I’d love it!
I want to come hike around where you live!
If you come to western MA, I hope you do!
Crisp water music and dancing light. Perfect!
Thank you, Val. 🙂
Beautiful photo. Looks so serene 🙂
Thank you, Ann, it is a lovely walk beside that stream.
Serenity now… this image captures the feeling I often have when I’m hiking. Nicely done, Eliza.
Thank you so much, Jane. It is a peaceful place. 🙂
Just gorgeous. I want to be there!
Thank you, Sarah, a delightful spot for sure!
So very, very beautiful.
Thank you, Sylvia. 🙂
Wonderful! A strong Spring statement – Spring will win!
Reminds me of “camp” – we visited our lake property on Saturday. All looks good but chilly! Still snow there in the “moss forest.”
Welcome back! A true sign of spring when the snowbirds return. 😉
a lovely composition and the silvery water is just perfect.
Thank you kindly, Ann.
A beautiful scene and capture. I love everything about it!
Thank you so much, Denise! 🙂
This looks so much like the park I walk in. OH I could just stay here forever. *sigh* Just gorgeous, Eliza!! Thank you! ❤
Thank you, Amy!
No, Eliza, I thank you! 🙂
I realize I checked your posts out of order. I like the photo here too 🙂
No matter, glad you came by. Thanks!
Your picture is so full of atmosphere. I love the curve on that trunk, before going onwards and upwards
Thank you, Allison. There’s more to that tree’s story in today’s post. 😉
These two posts are very beautiful, and very timely for me. I’ve had some changes hit me in just the past couple of hours and have been sitting here thinking, wow~CHANGE!. Trying to see the good in it and not freak out. And then I turn on my computer and find your post on change. Amazing. I’m still struggling with the changes I’m facing but now I’ll carry the words and images of your post in my mind as I go forward.
Thank you, Melissa. I hope you weather your changes for the highest good. There is probably a silver lining in there, it may take a while to find it, have faith. ❤
I love the blue reflection on the water and the sun shining through. This is a beautiful photo! 😀
Thank you so much, Kim!
