Acres of Sky

Acres of Sky

Acres of Sky
One of the few places in my town where there are still open fields. Many farms from my childhood no longer operate and have returned to forest. This one is a real treat as the view from the top stretches for miles and miles.

Those clouds look like they’re enjoying the view as they pass through.

  3. I see this and I just want to take a deep breath of that air.

Oh, yes, I forgot to mention the hay scented fields – so much I take for granted! πŸ™‚ The air quality around here goes up significantly in the summer because of the abundance of oxygenating plants. Sweet and clean -TYG!

Great blog, sadly though farms decline when no family member wants them. Farming is a hard job with so much work but there is still time to sit and watch the view.and smell the hay.

Yes, I agree, farmers work really hard 365 days/yr./no breaks/all weather. Since we were kids, so many have gone just in our area alone. I miss all the dairy farms and the pastures dotted with cows.

I love how the clouds are fluffy but also sort of spread out and flat, as if they’re trying to mimic the landscape.

    Beautiful!
