My pleasure! And so far so great – just came home yesterday after weeks in Greece – and outside of one very hot and one one very VERY hot day, the rest were perfect. Now I have to try to convince myself to get back into working mode… ugh.
How wonderful! I bet it was great to get away from it all. How were the crowds?
It was fabulous and my brother-in-law organised the whole thing and we did not stay in places like Athens but in little villages in mountains on Monamvasia, Corfu and Naxos. Fabulous. And the heatwave is staring now that we are back home.

Thank you, Bela. It is a poppy, commonly called bread-seed or lettuce-leaf.
Poppies don’t thrive in Hawaii, unfortunately. Though I did grow some beauties in New Mexico. It’s such an amazingly delicate and colorful flower. My sister grows black poppies, and she sent me some seeds while I lived there. Unfortunately, I never planted them.
