Silent Sunday – Last of Winter Ice

A beautiful photograph! I must say I’m glad to see the last of the ice though…☺️
Thank you, Julie. It’s been a long winter!
Nice photo Eliza, looks like an ice bubbler 🤣❤️🙏
Yes, it does, frozen in mid-splash 🙂
Thus is a stunning shot Eliza. I’ve title thus one: “ice suspended”
Thank you, Dawn. Little by little, it melts away. 🙂
That is so cool!
Thank you, Dale. Downright frigid! 😉
It’s snowing right now! Just random flakes, but still. Enough already! 😉
Agreed, enough!
Love winter… But I’m done with it
I feel sure you will be happy to see it finally leave 🙂 🙂
It has been here for so long, it is almost hard to imagine it truly gone!
Beautiful … a hopeful indicator of change
Thank you, Allison. Soon, I hope!
It looks like a Scottish terrier!
Ha, yes, I see that!
Pretty as it is, I do hope that it is the last now Eliza! 😀
Thank you, Cathy. I hope so, too. A cold spell has ice growing again at night, but soon that will change I expect. 🙂
Mother Nature ready for change! 🩵
Me, too! 🙂
Amazing
Thank you, Karina. 🙂
A lovely contrast, Eliza. 👏
Thank you, Pepper!
your photographs would make wonderful greeting cars and would spread the seasonal beauty of nature
Thank you, I made some long ago, but haven’t done it in many years. 🙂
Literally, a very cool find! 😉
Thanks, K!
Frozen in time….
Indeed, it’s time to melt!
Pretty ice capture…certainly no lack of cold or snow the past months…now to welcome some warmer seasons & flowers & pollinators.
Thanks, Alice. Yes, I bought violas, but it has been too cold for them to go out!
The motion of frozen water is a beautiful image! Nicely done, Elisa.
Thank you, Monika!
Yes, it’s gorgeous, but I know you, too, are happy to see the end of this winter that’s been sooo long!
Much colder and longer than we’ve grown used to, but gone at last!
On its way out! Farewell, beautiful ice. Until next year.
Yes, it has overstayed its welcome. 😉
Finally!
Ha, yes!
Hi Eliza. Hope it is indeed the end of your ice. Here in France we actually had a frost this morning!
MJ
We’ve had a few very chilly days (and nights -7C), but a warm-up is due, with a week of gray, showery weather, which the plants will like. April showers, right on time!
yay!! melting…
Every day a little less of that frozen stuff. 🙂
I’m sure you’re ready to kick winter to the curb. Or perhaps with the melting ice, bucket it out of the way! Regardless, that’s a lovely capture and a big huzzah for spring!
Thank you, Tina. With most days now well above freezing, it is only a matter of time before it all disappears. 🙂
Very pretty. But I bet it’s not the last. At least I know it’s not the last here in Michigan. We still have all of April and it definitely snows in April.
Thank you, Dawn. At least we know that whatever comes won’t last long!
I do hope this is the last of the winter ice for you Eliza, even though it looks truly gorgeous 🤍✨️
Thank you, Xenia. It can’t be much longer now!
Beautiful contrast of colour and texture!!
Thank you, Belinda!
Beautiful.
Thank you, Bela!
