Beautiful 💕💕
Thank you, Karen!
Ooh, I think it does want you to look within Eliza. But not related to the Day Of The Triffids gang is it? 🤣
🙂 Thank you, Mark. I certainly hope not…
A lovely rich burgundy Eliza. 😃
Thank you, Cathy. I have several different crosses and all are captivating. 🙂
Fabulous
Merci!
It’s a very elegant looking example! Lovely
Thank you, Allison!
An exquisite artwork by Nature. Beyond beautiful. Thanks for sharing, Eliza. Much enjoyed! Light and blessings to you 🙏✨🌻
Many thanks, Susana. 💕
Columbine? So pretty to peek inside of one!
Yes, they are like fancy fairy hats! 🙂
What a rich colour, beautiful 🤩
Thank you, Susan!
Love this image and title Eliza
Thank you, Catherine!
I don’t thing I’ve ever seen a columbine that color. Beautiful!

Thank you, Kris. I have a few burgundy ones, most are crosses of unknown parentage, a gift from Nature. 🙂
Lovely…(Suzanne)
Never met a columbine I didn’t like!
IKR? Such a lovely family. 🙂
So this is a Columbine? Somehow, I thought they were blue. This is a gorgeous color — so rich and striking — and I find it fascinating to peek inside the flower.
Thank you, Debbie. There are many different kinds and colors of columbines in nature, and then humans (and bees) hybridize them and the cultivars are endless!
Stunning.
Thank you, Cindy!
What a beauty Eliza! 💜 xxx
Thank you, Xenia! 💕
Love the angle you took – and the image.
Thank you, Tom. These nodding flowers always make me curious to see what’s inside. 🙂
Such a pretty flower, fine photo!
Thank you, Belinda!
What a beauty!
Thank you, Monika!
I have a sudden hankering for a nice glass of burgundy or merlot. What a luscious color, and a fun composition. I suspect you had to work a little for this one, unless these grow taller than I realized!
Thank you, Linda. I do love the color burgundy in the garden. This flower was in a vase, so was much easier to photograph. I’m getting too creaky for contortions these days!
The color and details of the blossom are wonderful.
Thank you, Tanja!
Beautifully photographed. 😉
Thank you, Pepper!
every single time I am awestruck with the purity of a flower’s color. the richness, something eternal about it.
Agreed, truly magnificent. Thanks, Gary!
That’s royalty right there 😄💜
It even wears a crown. 🙂 Thanks, Isha!
