Things are starting to pop as the weather warms and we head further into spring. My first vase of the season features three early cultivars of Narcissus and a few red twig dogwood snips. Nice to be back to creating arrangements from my own yard and garden.

Bet it smells great!
Yes, they do, so nice to arrange my own flowers again. 🙂
And I’m looking forward to another season of your arrangements, Eliza!
Thank you kindly, Sandy!
Most welcome.
It is good to still see daffodils. Although they finished here a while ago, they were still abundant while I was in Washington last week.
A stalwart performer for sure!
When you see those flowers you almost take in a big breath to share that bloom. Lovely arrangement to stretch your wings. Great post kind lady, may there be many more 🤗❤️🙏
Thank you, Mark. A great start to the season. 🙂
A cheerful arrangement in hues of yellow 🙂
Thank you, Anne. It was a joy to create. 🙂
Love it!
Thank you, Ilze!

So happy to see your pretty vase with Narcissus! So cheerful!
Thank you, Alice… long-awaited!
Its vibrant colors really shine against that still-sere background. Lovely.
Thank you, Linda. ‘Sere’ describes it well, great word!
Something I’m looking forward to, in maybe two weeks! Love the first daffs of the year!
Such excitement! 🙂
Love me some daffodils!
Mood-lifters, for sure!
Very pretty. Ours are up but not even any buds yet.
Thanks, Judy. The ‘Jetfire’ came on so fast, just a few days!
Spring, spring, spring!
Yes! 👏🏼
Excellent first!
Thank you, Hien!
Such happy early flowers. Is the vase an antique?
Thank you, yes, the vase is a vintage find. I love old vases!
I collect McCoy and others from that era.
So very pretty, Eliza! I’m so glad daffodil season is finally arriving–my first one opened on Friday. I do fear the cold forecast this week may discourage its cohort from joining it very soon, though!
Yes, it’s been chilly so far. I just hope we don’t get a ‘heat wave’ that blows everything out. Past experience tells us to wait and see. 😉
💛🤗🤩💛🤩🤗💖
Thank you, Susan!
Happy spring, Eliza. Daffies are a welcome sign!
Thank you, Jane. I come alive with spring, just like the plants!
So pretty! A new season begins in earnest!
Thank you, Barbara, I’m very happy about that!
Nothing cheerier than cut daffodils. Thanks for sharing a little bit of sunshine in a vase.
Thank you, Monika, my pleasure!
Beautiful in its simplicity Eliza.
Thank you, Andrea. So nice to be back in the garden again. 🙂
That is one happy vase!!
Thank you, Maria!
Oh that stylish vase is perfect for showing off these first spring blooms of the season. I am sure they will bring you much joy
Thank you, Cathy. Happy times ahead!
I’m glad you can enjoy spring at last, Eliza! My Achillea ‘Moonshine’, a harbinger of summer here, are already budding up – and I don’t view that as a good thing this early in the year 😦

Thank you, Kris. This winter felt rather long and I am glad to see its end (however we did have snow showers this morning, but it melts at least)!
Love, love that vase and the spring daffodils of course! Mine in B.C. are just showing about 2″ out of the ground!

Thank you, Jenny. The thrill of spring never grows old. 🙂
I’m very glad to see your first vase of the season. There’s nothing like those first daffodils 😊
For sure, thanks, Belinda!
Lovely arrangement. The daffodils continue the twist that the vase sets up–well done!
Thank you, Tina! 💕
I’m eagerly anticipating your spring vase arrangements, Eliza — this is a beautiful start!

Thank you, Alys!
Lovely. 🙂
Thank you, Robin. 💕
Love, New England spring is a simple vase. Is it a Calla Lily? I have always wanted those Red twig Dogwoods..
Thanks, Amy. Not sure what it is, maybe a stylized lily? A vintage find.
Yay! I always enjoy your pretty vases. 😊
Thank you, Pepper!
Delightful!
Thank you, Flavia!
Simply wonderful

So wonderful to see your beautiful flowers on display again in such a lovely vase!🙂 Harper and I took a very small walk today to admire the daffodils that appeared this week.🙂
Glad you liked them, S. A few warm days have made the grass so green and the daffodils burst. Been thinking of you, happy you are getting out and about!
